'The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler Weekend'

I called Disney travel, Friday night, to make some changes to a reservation and got a CM who runs the races. She felt the crowd level would be 12,000-15,000 people. Her thought was the crowd size, for this race, should be smaller, because of the after party.:shrug:

Apparently D23 is going to host an Epcot special event on September 30. Guess I'll have to try and get tickets to check it out. They haven't announced details just yet, I don't think.

This is shaping up to be a great Disney World weekend. :king:

Sam and I are making it a 3 day blow out, "no sleep till Brooklyn" (BBoys reference) type vacation. No kids.

Well, seeing as how my younger child turns 20 in July, even if one or the other comes, we will have no kids with us either! I booked a suite just in case one of them would like to tag along. :)

I was thinking this would be a 2 park visit, with the not-so-scary Halloween party at the Magic Kingdom and then the late night party at the Hollywood Studios. Now with the D23 event at Epcot, we might just have to expand our plans and make this a 3 park visit! :D

We thought about MNSSHP again, but we have done that before, and DHS has EMH that night so getting Sam to her "tower" is what are plans are. She loves it, bu not enough to stay up past 12 to ride that stuff after the ToT run the night before. :lol:

Ill be attending the F&W festival the night after the run.

We havent experienced KidCot yet. We arent quite to that age yet. Possibly next trip.

I actually love the KidCot stops especially in WS. My girls love participating and I always have such great conversations with the CMs that work them. Plus it's a cute FREE disney souviner. But it does take up a lot of time and since we are only attending the festival for 1 day, I want as much time for wining and dining! :slurp:

We are only there for 3 days and are leaving on Sunday. :(
It looks like there is going to be a MNSSHP on Friday night but hubby prefers that we go to Epcot on friday for the Food & Wine Fest so it looks like I miss out on the Halloween Party this year. It KILLS me because I LOVE everything about that event.

YAY! I already printed it out. I tape it to the treadmill so as I am running I can image where I will be in the park. I am somewhat suprised that we aren't in the DHS more. I seem to recall (I think it was the Wine & Dine) that we snaked all around the park. But I LOVE where the finish line is! Tower of Terror---HERE I COME!!!
