STK has made the claim that they will open "late 2015". If they get it open for this year i'd assume they want it open for the holidays, but do those that are able to tell by pics think it'll be able to finish by then?

Here are some progress pictures from Save PI. I am not sure if we will see an opening by the end of the year. The Hanger and Morimoto's are much further along then this and we don't even have an opening date for them yet.

Photo update as of Friday, July 31. An update on the Disney Springs River. Near where the old Pleasure Island bridge used to be located, a new wooden bridge is under construction that will land between Morimoto's Asia and Raglan Road. Note that this part of the river will be deeper.

A close-up of the "left" end of the new bridge, showing the deeper part of the river in the right foreground.

Crews were busy today on this side of Raglan Road, which was recently walled off. Morimoto's Asia in the background, behind the construction wall. The new wooden bridge will land between these two buildings.

This area's construction is really exciting to me. It's so cool to see the buildings and walkways appear around the meandering springs. :)

Photo update as of Thursday, Aug 6. For several months, the "corner" of Raglan Road was a paved area. Now, this corner (behind the construction wall) will be a planter, as a new large tree was recently installed.

As viewed from behind the wall, this corner planter will be at the foot of the new Disney Springs river bridge, seen here on the left in the below photo. The new pathway along Disney Springs river at Raglan Road is taking shape.

Over in the Marketplace, the water fountain play area has re-emerged, in front of the new pedestrian bridge at the corner of Hotel Plaza and Buena Visa Drive. The water fountain had been behind construction walls for a few weeks.

Finally, a minor detail. The hand railings for the outdoor deck at Paradiso 37 received a new color paint and a polished wooden hand hold for the top.

The progress they have made in the last 2 weeks is fantastic considering all the rain we have had.

It's unfortunately fuzzy but I thought it was interesting to see how far the road has come along as well as seeing the yellow crane in the foreground which is being used for the river bridge project and the second crane in the background which is what they are assembling the new soarin building with. There's always spaceship earth as well which is fun to see.

The boat ramp has really made a huge jump in progress in the last week or so. If things keep progressing I imagine the ramp will be open in the next week or two. (another photo in the album below)

The Lime (east) garage is rising in the background. A large curved wall is taking shape in the center of the photo, facing the future Disney bus transportation terminal area.

The bridge leading to Morimoto Asia and Raglan Road (off to right side of photo) now has wooden supports for the railing and wooden poles for lighting.

A view over the wall from the existing "Pleasure Island" bridge showing the area just west of STK restaurant. Planet Hollywood is just off to the right. Of interest here is the new bridge being built across Disney Springs river, seen on the left side of this photo.

I was there Saturday, saw the testing the water feature that is in front of the STK. Sort of a water fall running down a wall. Also, the STK wall facing Planet Hollywood has been painted a light blue. There was also a couple sides in the Town center "mall" area that had a light green paint.

Photo update as of Thursday, Aug 27. The construction wall along the side of Raglan Road has been moved closer to the building to facilitate work on the pavement between Raglan Road and the new Disney Springs river. A narrow passageway exists for guests walking to Cookes of Dublin.

wow. I hope they are subsidizing cooks while this is going on. I can't imagine they are getting much business.
