no need to have star wars in every corner of a park IMHO.
that's how I feel about Uni and Harry Potter but they continue to milk that utter

I agree!no need to have star wars in every corner of a park IMHO.
Nah fam. Muppets are lit.I agree!
Though I do not understand why they chose to build SWGE where they did leaving a Star Wars attraction all by itself with no connection... They honestly should have demolished the entire Muppets area and built Galaxy's Edge in that space....then Star Tours becomes your transportation to the Galaxy's Edge...and you exit right into the new land...VS a gift shop, then walk through Muppet square to get to the entrance to Galaxy's edge...
I don't know what that means...Nah fam. Muppets are lit.
That’s okay.I don't know what that means...
Pigs In Space...lolI've got another one of my.... different ideas.
They should make Star Tours a Star Wars/Muppet themed attraction. They wouldn't have to even change the movies just the interior line and whose flying the ship. They could easily replace the pilot C3PO with Gonzo and Rizzo.
I agree!

Yes exactly! That was the first plan that was discussed...they cleared out the parade warehouses and everything...Wasn’t the original plan to expand into the parking lot / Indy land using star tours as 1 of the anchor attractions? That made a lot of sense in my book.
I feel like the Millennium Falcon is going to be star tours 2.0 in some ways....
you would have lost Muppet Vision... but not Star Tours... since all the construction would have been in back of it. and you are right...the park cannot afford to lose any attractions....which is why they could have moved Muppets over to Animation courtyard before they demolished the area...Now it is more confusing with Star Tours by itself, and the muppets sandwiched between it and the rest of the Star Wars franchise. That wouldn't make an ounce of sense. Why demolish two areas with large franchise tentpole attractions, when SWGE can be built right next to it, and expand into unused land with zero attractions? As if Studios wasn't bad enough imagine it going without Star Tours and MV3D these last few years.
Wasn't there a rumor somewhere that suggested the Monsters Inc coaster replacing RNRC though?

I feel like this just needs to be saved on the front page of the news/rumors forum; ‘Monstropolis is not happening right now, scare again later’Yes, and a dumb one. RnRC are cars on tracks. The Monstropolis "Doors Coaster" would have been hanging seats like Pan. Totally incompatible.
That said, A Monstropolis land in DHS was a consideration, but is now indefinitely shelved. Which means it can come back, but insiders say there is no current plan to bring it back as an option, for now.
This actually is an idea that was considered for Grand Avenue. Unfortunately, the catwalks behind the buildings do not meet the safety standards the company needs in order to perform a live show in the modern day. Modifications would be cost prohibitive. How about a puppet show in the location formally known as Muppets Courtyard with the Muppet Babies like Great Moments in History?
Well... they can't. Years ago Disney was asked to permanently retire the full body Muppet characters. I can't remember if it was by the Jim Henson Company when they still owned them or Muppet Studios... Regardless, those in charge of the brand image at Muppet Studios will probably never allow full body Muppets ever again. The obvious exceptions are the Muppets who already are full body puppets such as Sweetums or Thog - which could still be used to make a cute show.Looking at the Sesame Street area at Sea World you can see a Muppet kinetic theme with items strewn apart the area makes me wish Disney could do something using this idea and also incorporating the full body costume versions of Kermit and friends...
I guess this is why we see them in their puppet forms during the former voulentEAR parade and Great moments in History..Makes me optomistic of seeing them in other windows down the road at the studios..If they ever go that route..Well... they can't. Oh please noMy hope is that Disney retires the Hall of Presidents or the American Adventure and replaces one with Muppet Vision 3D. They could even keep the presidents as the penguin orchestra
