It should be removed, but not for more Star Wars IMO. Enough already! I still think that if TDO MUST put dopey Guardians of the Galaxy anywhere in WDW, the courtyard would have been the place for it. Better there than Epcot. As it is, I wouldn't mind a Disney Afternoon 3D show there featuring the Gummi Bears, Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, and especially Darkwing Duck. "Let's get dangerous!" That could be amazing!
I like that idea!

Or heck, how about something with Roger Rabbit? It's criminal how that character has been neglected. A 3D film attraction featuring him and Baby Herman and select Disney characters could be awesome. If only Spielberg could stop being a fathead and allow the character to be used. He's as bad as Travers.
Disneyland has a RR Dark Ride, but its dreadful

YES! I'VE BEEN WANTING A ROGER RABBIT RIDE FOREVER!

Heck, the Toon Trolley ride was gonna be the same ride-type as Star Tours, so why not turn Grand Park into Toontown, and expand it over into Star Tours? Retheme Star Tours into the Toon Trolley ride, turn Muppet-Vision into the ACME building where the epic showdown between Eddie and Judge Doom took place, and ya got yourself a perfect Toontown area!

The funny thing is that the updated version of a variety show is a chat show...and that version failed. I think the problem with the most recent version was that it focused too much on the "personal" lives of the Muppets and not enough on the show. The second half of the season/series was much better, but, by then, it was too late to recover.

I always wonder where people get the "Muppets were for kids" thing...They were family friendly, but they were pretty adult for the time. They were on the risqué side of puppet based entertainment.
the best thing Disney has done with them were youtube shows (maybe the streaming will do the same), they have had the amazing bohemian rhapsody, a cooking show (muppets kitchen with cat cora) a movie review show.. that should still be going (from the balcony with waldorf and statler), these short funny moments are what makes them work. Id love a bill nye the science guy with beeker and bunsen honeydew... a cooking show... a movie review show... so many of these kind of things could be done,

I'd be OK with MuppetVision 3D going away IF they build the Muppet Movie Ride somewhere else in the park. Then off 3D film on Disney+ or a Blu-Ray extra.

I'm a big Jim Henson fan, but I also recognize a nearly 30-year-old 3D film is going to seem very dated to the average guest. What I'm more concerned about is the Muppets' continued presence in the parks, and the Muppet Movie Ride could accomplish that while also paying tribute to the Studios' past with a NEW ride.

Which is why Disney's Bonker's was made for that reason...If Spielberg decided to drop Roger out of Disney they had made him for back up as the character also lived in Toontown and a switch could be Easily done with the characters of the show..

Hate to tell you this, but it was already done before, the acme warehouse used to be part of the Disney MGM Studios.
