The Spirited Sixth Sense ...

I continue to be amazed how personal everything is to the tweeps out there, especially how concerned they are with what goes on here on WDWMagic. Highly amusing, bless their hearts.

Wonder what kind of story they would come up with? Although I liked the first one, I don't really see where they would take those characters for a second go around...

On that note, I am still fascinated by Disney wanted to originally use Cruella DeVille as the villian in The Rescuers!!! That idea eventually got scraped because Disney wasn't in the business of sequels...

I agree with this. It's further apart than Tokyo and Osaka (both with HSR) and each resort has very little regional overlap with the other. I even question if SDL will truly cannibalize HKDL. It might slow its current trajectory, but I would be very shocked if HKDL growth stalled or reversed.

It won't. HK might as well be another country ... in many ways, it still is. People who would go to HKDL, they'll do that. And people who would visit SDL, they'll do so too.

Oh goody, I'm finally feeling slightly human again and it's going to rain tomorrow!

I'm also all for trumpeting the success of Universal, but that upper hand really only applies to Orlando... To suggest otherwise is hyperbole or wishful thinking. It might however freak them out a little bit, which always means a better product overall for everyone.

It will be interesting to see what the first full Comcast reign park turns out like. Singapore was a much better take on the classic Studios design, that's for sure.

I would agree with part of that. Disney's big concerns with UNI are in O-Town where it's own business has major issues due to stagnation, neglect, Walmarting and little thing called MM+. But there is some concern over Comcast's aggressive plans for remaking the Hollywood property too. China ... it's a giant buffet, plenty of pie to go around for everyone.

I haven't been to USS yet. Friends that have like the place, but always comment that it is an awfully small park.

Everyone reads here ... this IS the site for WDW ... and for certain Spirited personalities. They may say otherwise, they may not want to take part in discussions (except in the echo chamber that is Twitter), but they read.

Let's all say it together class, Good Morning Mr. Kalogridis!

The Government of Hong Kong has always been concerned about Shanghai Disneyland but I think that probably has more to do with interest and levels of investment from Disney (and how that would impact attendance) than an actual shifting of attendance.

Not mocking anyone. Simply culling assorted Tweets out to give folks a taste of the Disney Lifestyle daily.

I'm not saying you are.

Dead Dom DeLuise fan here on the other hand is. Apparently emulating a mentally unstable character from bad Burt Reynolds movies is somehow the poster child of mental health.....

I'd just suggest you take up your issue with the other poster personally, Dave. Folks here can have kneejerk reactions and I don't want to see Fun With Tweets disappear. People put stuff out that the world can see (that's what many of them truly do NOT get) and all I am doing is giving them some added attention and viewership. If they cared what others thought, they'd either go private or be more careful with what they put out.

It's up to individuals what they take out of a Tweet. There ... said my peace. Now, please let's not be the Russians ... let's keep the peace.
