Maybe it wasn't you if you do not remember it. Perhaps it was someone else. Grizz something perhaps. I do not pay much attention to who is who unless they are constantly reponding negatively. I have know idea who anyone is on these boards beyond their avatar unless they post publicly elsewhere like EE or Merf. And even then I only know a name.

Sorry about that if you were not the person.

No Big Deal..... The past is the past.

I saw it used successfully on other forums.

All of us are hardcore Disney fans but not all of us want to see the spoilers. Not everyone wants to see advance ride videos or even see photos of new things.

Some of us want to see things with wide-eyed, childlike wonder as we see it for the first time.
dave, the problem is.. many things you claim are spoilers are NOWHERE NEAR SPOILERS.
that is the issue.
Like the news of Harrison Ford breaking a leg, somehow is a spoiler for you.

They are SUPPOSED to vacuum regularly.
SUPPOSED is a funny word, but I dont think you should be using it on something that is EXPECTED.
they SHOULD be vacuuming.
I still cringe when someone in the forum, posted about how filthy the grand Floridian villas were.
With cobwebs, fingerprints, dust everywhere, stains everywhere.

Maybe off topic a bit, but Im putting this in @WDW1974 's thread because Im curious if him (or any others) have any knowledge of how Uni handles their Public Relations. Ive been watching the videos of media events with Universal Creative regarding DA and its extremely refreshing to see a truly open Q&A session that does not have canned, generic, bland, repetitive answers to pre-written questions from mommy blogging wh****, as in the way Disney handles their "Imagineer Chats". Thierry Coup, Mark Woodbury and Dale Mason come across in a very genuine manor. I only know who they are after watching several videos but I like what I see. I realize they are higher up the food chain than the average Imagineer and perhaps they have more freedom to speak openly but I enjoy seeing open ended, organic sessions and I dont feel like im being force fed a spoonful of brand advocacy.

Edit to add: my statement is in no way trying get to praise Uni and bash Disney. Just recognizing different styles of PR. I always have and always will love WDW

I suggest the midtier one. It's what I've had.
The mid-tier gives just enough value (I don't need 8 bottles of water but I don't like blackout dates) without being too expensive. In fact, when I bought the AP I had not intentions of using it other than for one visit (cost differential on-site hotel more than made up for by resort discount - as you know try that with a WDW AP) now I'm just looking at timing to get another visit in. If I'd bought a WDW AP, I'd feel forced to make another visit just to try to justify the cost. With Uni I get a nice warm feeling of "Hey I can go back if I choose, the hotel discount already made the purchase a great value, if I don't want to go back before it expires, no big $ loss.

Maybe the new process in Frozen is working or not so many little girls are in the MK today but Frozen is not the longest stand by at the moment. Unless the little ones are also on the 3:00 route at the moment.

But for fun these are the current standbys: Frozen 90, Cindy 60, HM 95, BTM 50, 7DMT 75, Space 70, Splash down. Must have a free lunch in the Mansion today.

Edit: Splash just came on line.

One of the few (and believe me I mean FEW) times I watched America's Funniest Home Videos (of Families Who Don't Mind the Ridicule of Millions of Viewers) was when they were filming on both DCL and at WDW and advertising both with a sweepstake giveaway for a free cruise.

I suspect that is correct. Or more specifically, ABC.

Obviously this all seems odd because Disney/ABC, Universal/NBC, which seems absurd since Disney uses ABC all the time. I don't even watch the show, but apparently there was an entire episode of "The Middle" at Disneyland recently that they promoted the absolute hell out of. Same with their Star Wars episode.

Thinking about it, though - I want to say that because of those very blurred lines between the Entertainment and News Divisions at networks, and those antiquated rules about which falls under which (Barbara Walters has talked about this on the View before), it is plausible that the Tonight Show, even though it's a talk show, straddles those lines which would invoke some sort of "equal airtime" thing.

Then as soon as I arrived at that possibility, I remembered the week The View spent with the round table smack in front of Sleeping Beauty's Castle, and the guests came from inside and sat down every day. That little Universal ball is nothing compared to that.

I'm wondering if it's not about the ball at all, because if you look at the pics in it - it does kind of stand out and it looks like it's growing out of his microphone. It may have just been too visually distracting. It may have nothing to do with whatever supposedly went down, just be a coincidence.

Just to clarify this for others reading: not true in the slightest, in any way. Yes, Hogwarts Express has video instead of windows, but it's way more than "tv's instead of windows." And Escape from Gringotts is in no way comparable to Dwarves.

And The Rock was not nor ever will be in the league of Hulk Hogan.

74 has said he welcomes opposing opinions in his thread but anyone who has a different point of view attracts your snide remarks and constant negativity.

There is something wrong with you being in the mix in this way. Like shenanigans.
Actually, just those for whom opines somehow equates to facts. But I understand your sensitivity, seeing as you're a fellow practitioner....

I got on Haunted Mansion earlier today and the wait was not NEARLY that long :jawdrop: I also thought it was odd how relatively short A&E wait time was. Right now I'm in Universal and boy does London look great in person :) Even though I could only see it from far away the Dragon looks incredibly realistic too.

Best thing about the Universal AP is that you can pay for half of it upfront, then monthly for $15. Once it "expires", it really doesn't expire if you don't want it to. You can keep it going month-to-month. You never have to pay a big lump sum again.

Throw in the significant discount on rooms, food, and merchandise (CityWalk included), and going there is just so affordable. We used to do Disney regularly, but now it's an every few years thing. (We did in February of this year, but still spent time at Uni.) We'll hit Uni again at least twice more this year. With the park cost essentially fixed and the hotel rooms easy to afford and giving us express pass and early entry, there's so much more value. Oh, and new stuff opening all the time. It really is a lot like how Disney used to be.

Update on the MK waits. Parade is over so Frozen back up at 105, 7DMT 110, Space 70, Splash back on line at 90. HM must have been down for a while as they are back to normal at 20. So glad to be home working instead of in the park this time of year.

What is the discount like for Florida AP guests at universal?

I'm asking because.in a year I may be a Florida resident. Not in orlando but florida nonetheless.
