We do Giordano's, sometimes Uno's. Both are famous authentic Chicago style pizza restaurants with chains in Orlando.

Giordano's and Uno's both have locations near Downtown Disney. Giordano's also has one on Route 192 near Animal Kingdom Lodge.

You've got to be willing to eat at least half your pizza slice with a knife and folk, which seems to offend most New York Style purists, who feel a pizza slice has to be folded or it's not pizza. :D

Ok, here's some things I noticed. I clearly see the Hulk Coaster and the area around it looks like it could be a new MSHI, but it's hard to tell from behind. Can they do that or would they have to go to Disney to build a Marvel area in a new park?

Is that Diagon Alley in the top left? Kind of looks like it could be. The thing next to Diagon looks like it could be The Mummy. The town looking area below that looks like it could be Hogsmeade but that makes no sense with Hogwarts no where to be seen unless that huge castle next to it is Hogwarts  That could also be something completely different and Diagon would be the only Harry Potter area.

I can't tell what the building on the right behind the castle is supposed to be but when I look at the one on the left I think King Kong for some reason.

(Maybe?)

The other areas are clearly Jurassic Park and Far Far Away. It also looks like they're getting a River Adventure clone. Shame, a new park gave them a great chance to finally do the Jeep ride.
My guesses for Universal Beijing -

  1. Sci-Fi City in place of MSHI (Transformers, MIB, Ghostbusters, Star Trek, BTTF)
  2. Lost World (JP, Kong and Waterworld)
  3. Some sort of HP land
  4. Springfield/KidZone (the front area that looks like a carnival)
  5. Something Despicable Me (Super Silly Fun Land?)
  6. Universal Monsters (Van Helsing, Mummy, etc)
  7. Something DreamWorks (Shrek, HTTYD, Madagascar)
Part of me hopes some of the attractions are unique.

I have absolutely no clue where I actually left off here ... so ... here's a musing:

I am not excited by Big Hero 6 at all. It may be great, but the trailers haven't got me all hot and bothered.

At Disneyland they are holding about a 10 minute extended preview of Big Hero 6. It looks great visually and I think it will be a good film, not great. It appears they are trying to make Baymax the breakout star and he very well could be. He was the best part of the preview.

I haven’t read the comic it’s based on but it appears that it is…

Kids forming their own Avengers like group.

True enough. But that was the 'we can't let people think this is a princess movie because then anyone with a p-e-n-i-s won't see it' ... it's part of that whole segregating audiences deal and why Marvel was bought. TWDC leadership believes that films with strong females will turn off anyone not a mommy, a girl or a fanboi who dreams of being a Disney Princess (but just winds up an old queen!)

If you watched those Frozen trailers, then you would have thought the film was about a MAGICal snowman.
This started with Princess and the Frog. It killed hand drawn animation all because it had the word Princess in the title. It had nothing to do with Tangled or Frozen being better movies.

This is what happens when you rely on 24 people in a focus group to make billion dollar decisions for you.

Fanbois and hording (not whoring!) ... how prevalent is it for someone to grab 30 copies of guidemaps, times guides, hotel paper etc ...

DISCLOSURE: I always take copies of that stuff, but usually 1-2 for myself and a few that are given to special fanboi friends. ... But I do know people who gran immense amounts and are literally drowning in March 7, 2011 week MK entertainment schedules and July 4th 2009 Eyes and Ears etc.
Weirdos... (looks both ways, wipes mouth with 100th Anniversary Napkin).

Just saw an update on Disney and More. Looks like I wasn't that far off except for Transformers and Madagascar. If the Hogwarts Express is really in this park I don't think it will be as effective as here in Florida. Having Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley in two separate parks really works as a way to have distance between them and have the train ride make sense. Having both lands right next to each would feel very off. Here are the pics.

Looks good anyway, although that cliche of always putting fireworks in concept paintings to make things look more interesting is starting to annoy me.
Does any Universal park even do a fireworks show?

Can they do that or would they have to go to Disney to build a Marvel area in a new park?
Universal could build a clone of the coaster, they just could not call it The Incredible Hulk.

I thought theme parks were only supposed to open with 2 or 3 rides...
