The Spirited Seventh Heaven ...

How could a ride about Gringotts NOT be a roller coaster? Would off a lot of fans if that was the case. Those scenes from the movies should have shown you a little of what to expect. Also, can I just take this chance to point out how much I LOVE the rides first drop? Nothing else like it and sitting in the back makes it all the better :)

Well, like I said, I never saw the Deathly Hallows movies. So there's that. You don't get the same visuals just from reading the books. I just remember folks like Martin talking about the ride how it was going to be more family friendly, so I don't know what I expected exactly but it felt like more of the same from Uni. Which isn't necessarily bad, but I don't feel like it differentiated itself from the other Uni E-tickets.

After our three days at Uni, my wife remarked that "Why is every ride basically the same? You wear 3D glasses, something goes wrong, there's fire and water shot at you as you race around and then you luckily get saved at the end". I mean, it was sarcasm but I do feel like there's a inkling if truth. I think the clincher was when we saw the Shrek movie thinking "oh, this will be funny" and it still had a lot of dark, ominous tone through much of it. As a counter point, I think Minion Mayhem stuck out as being so much more light-hearted and funny compared to other Uni rides and I wish they had more like that to balance things out.

Just IMHO. I know I'm coming across more negative about Uni than I feel. I do really enjoy the rides there and the HP areas are fantastic to just walk around in and absorb.

There are only two things about modern family to grab my attention and make it worth my while…

As for "the Big Bang theory"? It seems like they are more making fun of the culture that they are supposedly promoting… Jim Parsons does a phenomenal job of promoting and advancing A character with serious mental deficiencies. The sad thing is that everyone laughs at those.

And here's another interesting take… Amazing when we had white people dealing drugs, they all win Emmys. But you had black people dealing drugs and out much better television show called "the wire" and the Kanamee couldn't be bothered to pay attention to this predominantly African-American cast from Baltimore…
Are they two things you want to grab?

I honestly can't see that case doing much. The entire premise is that of people who are legitimately or claiming to be autistic saying that they are unable to wait in line?

How do these people go to the grocery store?
There have been plenty of posts from parents discussing how they have to schedule the right time to visit the grocery store either without the child or at times when the chances of a significant wait are minimized. All lines are also not equal and there may not be issues at one place that can arise at others.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: If you put this system on MDE and expand the required return time to anything greater than 30 minutes it would be more than reasonable. For what it's worth, that's basically what Universal does except without the MDE equivalent.

I agree completely. The way the guest assistance card was changed is entirely fair.

There is nothing in the United States annotated code that says it is unlawful to make a human being wait in a line.

I have yet to use it for my autistic brother. However, I did have a 15-20 minute conversation with someone in Guest services discussing it and my concerns. It will be less convenient than the GAC was, but I suspect that the differences will be transparent to my brother. That's far and away the most important thing. He doesn't care what's going on in the background.

It just annoys me that people who have legitimate uses for a guest assistance card, like yourself and other friends that I have, get overshadowed by people who abuse the system and claim all sorts of things in order to avoid waiting in line…

Its in another thread. Marie has never been off base before and she's saying Off Kilter, Mo'Roccin and Fife & Drum.

Then there's another show that I've had two people flat out say will be chopped come end of September.

No, ***** didn't die of dysentery, instead it was with budget cuts and the stroke of a pen. Gutless and hidden in the shadows, behind a desk and never in daily contact with the guests.

If this is true that is huge and pretty much is a complete gutting of entertainment in WS. What the heck do they think all those drunk people are gonna do during F&W. Off Kilter are practically an institution.

Will British Revolution stay?

I have no idea. Likely yes. They were not the act I heard mentioned. Same country tho.

I dont want to be the one to put it out there because I need to confirm it first. (Tho two anonymous sources does meet my own sourcing policy). I want someone on the record for this.

Four equity acts at Epcot. Thats a bloodbath.

And, FWIW, I actually think the Hogwarts Express was a much worse culprit for this issue. The scenes outside the door were pretty much just "oh look some people outside" unless you knew the references from the books/movies. The scenes outside the train were more interesting (especially IMHO the Knight Bus) to the uninitiated though I think appreciating of how well the tech worked was the real gem more than the physical experience of watching the scenes.

Wow. Here is a GREAT example of how reasonable theme park fans can very respectfully disagree --- and why designers now have a hard time pleasing any/everybody. From my rides, I felt the scenes outside the doors worked SO MUCH better. They helped immerse me in the story/world. I PERSONALLY felt the CGI of the "windows" on the train more often than not took me out of any suspension of disbelief. I really liked and admired what they were TRYING for, but for ME, they swung for the fences and missed big time. Now here is hoping they add some randomization both to the doors and the windows. IMHO Hogwarts now is a B-/C+. With a very few tweaks, they could easily earn an A. (1st requirement: cast someone as Hermoine who SOUNDS REMOTELY like Emma Watson.)
