Not to hijack this thread, but has there been a discussion about Tokyo's new Night time castle show spectacular?
There has.

Like Dreams, there is a risk a show like this would replace the traditional pyro show in the MK.

WDW is blessed that it can have technologically advanced multimedia shows in two other parks. Leave the castle park for proper castle fireworks.

The same Morgan that works for Touring Plans? Wouldnt call her a lifestyler, I'd call her Len's Employee instead.

Also, why is Scarlett still in the photo on the staff page especially after the way Len fired her?
Morgan had a lifestyler presence long before Len picked her up. I did find it, how do I say this, slightly distasteful, that he had Scarlett solicit for "part time help" the week before he fired her. I'm sure he knew at that point she was gone.

OK, I need to place this in 8th Wonder, but no way am I getting there tonight and it is on my mind, but anyone heard the unprecedented DVC offer to members?

It's at Aulani and good for mid-Oct to mid-Dec arrivals. Apparently, you can book five nights with points and GET TWO ADDED FOR FREE. I believe it is for whatever level you slot into, so one staying at a Grand Villa for five nights would be able to stay for seven on five nights points. I do not believe I have ever seen a DVC offer like this.

Oh, and DVC members are being offered great discounts on MAGIC cruises out of Port Canaveral this fall (not points wise here, just $$$ wise!)
In my opinion Aulani's problem is it's on the wrong island. I'll probably stay there a few nights on my next trip to HI just to check it out, but I prefer to spend more time on any of the other islands. I'm guessing the majority of DVC owners live pretty far from Aulani. It might do a little better if they expanded DVC in CA and had more west coast owners. For me it's a 10 hour flight to Honolulu if I can get a direct flight. 12+ hours with a connection. It's only about 4 hours from Southern CA. A lot more reasonable flight and cheaper.

With TDO that wouldn't surprise me. Another way to save money.

Im sorry but why can't it have both? Nothing honestly stopping that, they would just push this show a little earlier for it's run time. We already have celebrate the magic before wishes. Also doesn't tokyo disneyland get this and magic in the sky? I believe paris is one of the few ones that does a projection show in favor of fireworks due to them not being able to have the loudest fireworks.

Because TDO have already explored axing a real fireworks show in favour of a cheaper to run multimedia show in the MK. CTM is rightly a warm up for the main act. It shouldn't be bigger than the main act. Keep the lasers in Epcot.

A Dreams type show was cancelled in Orlando three years ago. A blessing in disguise.

Simply put it's phenomenal and I can't help but hope we will get it, as our show PALES in comparison.

Couldn't disagree more. Minus the Pooh segment and some of the B&tB segment... it is as if they just used the castle as a really expensive, poorly shaped projection screen. There is almost no use of the castle with the mapping effects.. there is almost no interaction with the castle. It might as well be "Cinderella's World of Color". We take WoC... remove all the water effects, and just put it up on the castle.

Sure the laser is neat at the start with Tink... but MK's pyro integration is better.

According the Universals website, Power Passes are still blacked out through August 15th at US. Will they likely change this soon?

Passholders received this email a couple of days ago.

does this confirm @WDW1974 's prediction that Orlando and its main parks are "ghost towns" for now?
Here's a couple of twitter pics of MK last night before the last parade, so around 11'ish? Looks pretty quiet in Frontierland...
