if I paid for a DA package and didn't get to ride Gringotts id be pretty PO'dTMs are telling guests that Gringotts won't be open. Some are saying it won't soft open tonight. I hope I didn't make this two hour drive for nothing
You won't know unless you try.
Personally I can't handle Dumbo.
It's being reported that hotel guests are being let in....TMs are telling guests that Gringotts won't be open. Some are saying it won't soft open tonight. I hope I didn't make this two hour drive for nothing
A couple years ago Bojangles made a MASSIVE resurgence in Hampton Roads ( I am not a fan of their food by any means, nor is most of the area judging by parking lot levels at any time of day).
A year ago Cookout made a big appearance and regularly has drive-thru lines stacked out of the parking lots going down the high way.
About six months ago Zaxby's started making an even larger appearance and is doing VERY well
so, the sensors that supposedly had to slowdown the cars.. are not working.. and thus the cars hit each other?I've heard the computer issue as well. Something to do with the paint or coating on the car not playing well with the sensor systems. Not an engineer, don't ask me for details--all I heard (from an unofficial tho reliable source) is that ride vehicles were behaving like bumper cars when they should not be.
Don't get me wrong, I (like most of us nutjobs here) love the parks and have been going for 43 years...yeah, I'm that old. But like you, I can only take it in small doses because I've been there so many times over the years (and the crowds and the prices). For some, it really has become their social life. Their friendships/relationships, their very existence and a wedding for one case I know of, completely revolve around the parks. I can see spending multiple days at a resort (we did 9 days in WDW back in 2010) as part of a vacation but not 5+ days a week, every week, like some. I mean, over 1000 visits to Disneyland? Really? How does anyone enjoy it at that point?
I've heard some teachers even suspend or call the FBI when a kid does the "gun" motion with the hands.. ridiculous.Considering teachers are probly constantly worried about a gun wielding student opening fire on the entire school, standing at the metal barricades may not be so bad.
In fairness to the students, there are crazy teachers who will report/suspend them if they chew their pop-tart into the shape of a gun. (anyone see that story, wow!)
I have no details on this. Maybe something that actively broadcasts your location? IDFK.
perhaps guy as the "nothing to lose" mentality now? There's a guy who has been to DLR every day for the past two years or something - it started in 2012 when he lost his job, and he hasn't quit. Every. Day. He now has a website and tries to get media invites to events. I'll see if I can dig it up.
EDIT: Found it. Not a site, just twitter/instagram. https://twitter.com/Disney366
but booooy.. they sure love to say how (apple-like) their devices are magical and a giant step for humankindThis is one of the areas where those who sing the praises of the basic features of MyMagic+ show their unfamiliarity with other destinations. RFID keys coming to Walt Disney World was an inevitability, not some amazing leap forward.
I saw a post recently that the car would end up on a motion platform that could do a side to side motion and tilting motion.
Don't worry, people only complain about Disney having problems and not Uni.Harry Potter Gringoits Ride is going to have issues when it opens... Just like Mine car had them just like test track had them etc. Does not mean the ride is bad or should get bad press.... Fact is when a ride opens like a new restaurant they need to be given time to get the bugs out... Dont expect perfection on day 1. Give them some time.
What if they are using the people to test variations/fixes with full load per cart/train?If Gringotts is having issues, why soft open it? Couldn't that make problems worse, or do they need to run it with guests on to know what adjustments to make? Good luck to all who are attempting to get in, can't wait to here about it!
Higher price?Improvements of size? stronger sensors? more sensors?
That is from the queue. It is a picture that shows the movement of the ride so that people may exit if they think they may not like it. Idk if it is actually footage. Probably not.Thats pretty cool, didn't hear that but I'm sure that'll make the ride exciting.

I could barely hear what that guy was saying! I'm gonna be like, "yah I guess I'm fine" and get sick Is that just CGI or is that real footage of people on the ride?
I'm hearing that the soft opening isn't happening today after all, but who knows what to believe.
The problem with that is... The DA package never promised anything but a meal at the Leaky Cauldron as far as DA. So if anyone was expecting otherwise... They didn't even bother to read what was included.if I paid for a DA package and didn't get to ride Gringotts id be pretty PO'd
I believe @PhotoDave219 was able to ride it during media previews. He posted a full review but I can't remember where.I saw a post recently that the car would end up on a motion platform that could do a side to side motion and tilting motion.
It looks similar to the one in the queue for Forbidden Journey which was definitely CGI.That is from the queue. It is a picture that shows the movement of the ride so that people may exit if they think they may not like it. Idk if it is actually footage. Probably not.
