Thatā€™s what I was thinking.

Unless plot twist and theyā€™re doing the DHS stunt show.
They're doing the Paris coaster, it has to be.

It's the worst received out of the four Indy attractions around the world.

Cheaply done, light theming, hastily put together, off the shelf, and countless complaints of it being too rough since open? Indiana Jones et le Temple du PĆ©ril. It's the quintessential Eisner ride in an otherwise unaffected park from his shakier legacy.

The fact that the same person who oversaw multiple Future World pavilions and World Showcase countries being added to EPCOT Center, the development and opening of Disney MGM Studios, Typhoon Lagoon, about a dozen new resorts, and Tokyo Disneyland, was also responsible for,....

Do I have to look?

It's crazy he started out so strong and then bam DCA 1.0, the Paris studios park, and Hong Kong all of which were critically panned due to their cheapness and/or lack of attractions.

If we go to individual things: Tiki Room Under New Management, Aladdin Carpets, Stitch's Great Escape, death of 20K, Mission Space, Imagination redo, the state of disrepair Disneyland was allowed to be ran until guests started to ya know die and get injured cause rides were literally falling apart on themselves.

Although Tokyo Disneyland wasn't him, DisneySea opened under his tenure but not sure if he gets the credit or Oriental Land Company since they own, operate, and decide what gets built.

He may have started strong, but at the end he had a lot more misses than hits. Especially after the death of Frank Wells.

Omg yeah I always forget TDL isnā€™t him, cause it was right before him. But yeah, youā€™re totally right. I think if anything, maybe his misses donā€™t add up to his hits; but you canā€™t afford to have many of them. And he had three pretty dang huge misses as you mentioned.

Canā€™t forget about Paul Pressler when talking of that era either.

Also I know this like imagineering and theme park orientated BUT he also:
  • Sold off the Disney Store to Children's Palace
  • Led Disney Animation to what many consider the second animation dark age
  • Buck Cluck
  • Killed hand drawn cause Home on the Range was going to be the final test for some reason???
  • Few and far in between Live action blockbusters towards his end
  • Direct to DVD sequel craze
  • Almost losing Pixar
He may have giveth 90s Disney Renaissance, Disney Cruises, Disney Broadway, and plenty of amazing imagineering feats but thereā€™s a reason the Save Disney campaign started in his final years at the company.

All very, very, VERY good points.

I tend to be so DisParks focused that I forget about stuff like that.

Never forgot, that's why I'm still an Iger fan even with the so/so state of the parks. He will never ever be as bad as Eisner was

Iger has issues too. His main thing is the dilution of the Disney brand, a floundering live action studio, ABC falling to be the lowest ranked of the big 3, over reliance on big tentpoles, and staling and then homogenization of the parks.

Now it is Chapek time. Park wise it typically fals to that president and luckily Josh Damaro has a good rap. Hopefully once tourism rebounds we see newfound creativity
