Can we talk about the fact it took a pandemic to kill this show? The series ended 11 years ago and reruns 6 years. The fact it remained is boggling.

If I were Universal Id take this as an opportunity to shutter most of KidZone and expedite Nintendoland foe the park.

Along with rerouting ET to Hollywood for a new entrance.

They were going to demolish the whole area, they even filed the permits for demolition and put up construction walls, but then the Epic Universe land got approved so they moved the concept there. Apparently, if the Super Nintendo World is a success they will make a Pokemon land takeover Kids Zone.

I know but the latest rumor is moving things around due to epic universe being so delayed by covid and Universal not wanting to be so behind.

I will be intrigued to see if they actually do that. Universal Studios is such a pathetic park when compared to IoA and the Epic Universe concept, so it definitely needs something major.

But if Universal is wanting to save money in the short term, the best option might actually be to build the Pokemon land first. The expansion would leave Animal Actors intact, saving money on demolition, and is the smallest scale rumored Nintendo project.

From the sound of it, Universal execs intend to continue spending big money on the parks, but in the age of corona time, who knows what they're going to do.

A little self-promotion, I've gotten back into my Disney's Wild Kingdom park! I got to do my animal thing with 1986, so I took a break from Imagineering for a bit, but now I'm back and ready to build the best zoo! Check it out if you want, it'd mean a lot!

Excited to see this! Between this and Hulk's DisneySky it's giving me the push I need to get back into working on Disneyland Seoul and really finish it.

Yessss!!! And yeah that detail about
Captain Marvel
was a very intriguing touch! And I think I get it.

And
Evan Peters showing up!!
My jaw involuntary dropped. And I just sat there as the credits started rolling!

I guess all the kids who sang evil nursery rhymes about barney won today. I'm really surprised, Barney has been off the air for years and this was still playing. I guess that shows both the longevity of the character as well as how outdated the whole kidzone land is. It should have been replaced ages ago. Universal has Nickelodeon licencing, why didn't they make it a Dora show or a Paw Patrol show? Kinda mindboggling

They haven't done anything new per se with any Nickelodeon IP since 2012, so I don't think they've got any big plans for them. On an unrelated note, I'd wish they'd up some things around the park; i.e. more floats for the Superstar Parade, change the name from Universal Studios Florida to Universal Studios Orlando, a new design for their shopping bags, replace Shrek 4D, change DM: MM to be like USJ's incarnation, and change the entrance into Studios.

I always wanted an attraction based on Double Dare or Legends of the Hidden Temple.
