The Sorcerer's Warmups
In the continuation of daily warmups from @tcool123 and myself (And maybe mystery guests?????) welcome to the fourth warmup. Even if you're not participating in the Sorcerer's Apprentice feel free to pitch your own ideas for the prompts. Now without further ado get ready for the fourth warmup prompt
Originally this would have been Stanza III of Season 4. But now it is just another story lost in the multi-verse
An Unconvincing Campaign

Some of the most memorable projects in Sorcerer's Apprentice history are the more weird prompts that take a look at often overlooked aspects of theme parks and gives players a chance to think outside the box and get a little goofy. There was a fart themed Minions flat ride in season 6, a poop themed restroom and a Michael Jackson dance routine in season 5, a horror movie take on Heimlich's Chew Chew Train and the Volcano Bay Bro in Season 4, the Infamous Bench in Season 3(?).
Today's warm up gives you the chance to practice thinking about an unconventional prompt that lends itself to a bit of a weirder project.
The goal is to Pitch an Ad Campaign and/or Viral Marketing Stunt for a Bad Attraction.
Bad is a relative term of course. And don't feel limited to just Disney if you don't want to.
Imagineers during this practice prompt you may use one to two sentences, and one image. Good luck and remember KISS: Keep it simple, silly
Nice job!

"Make a right in front of the the toilet paper covered castle at the end of the street to get to Tomorrowland"Congratulations...since you just streamed Lilo and Stitch on Disney+, you have won 4 free 1-day tickets to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World! The only catch is that when you enter the park you must immediately go ride [the not-terrifying-but-annoying] Stitch’s Great Escape.

First off love the idea an indoor/outdoor Beauty and the Beast darkride plenty of opportunities to have outside and indoor scenes with how the movie presents itself. One thing of note is that I'm unsure if it is still boats or new vehicles, but it could just be me being thrown off by something. Now with that said I think this would be a great way to introduce Beauty and the Beast, and would promote the then upcoming remake.Beauty and the Beast: Curse of the CastleAn indoor/outdoor darkride similar to Alice at Disneyland, the ride begins in Belle's Village where guests see a standard day for Belle and the villager and even go inside the tavern to see Gaston celebrating himself. The vehicles then go underneath the base of Storybook Castle where the rest of the ride gives us a tour of the Beast's Castle starting in the dungeons and ending in the ballroom with several appearances from key characters and moments from the film along the way.
I actually love the idea of a Tangled boat ride, and I think that given the way the current ride works this could translate well with the very outdoorsy feeling that the film of Tangle carries throughout.Rapunzel's Tangled Celebration!
Hop aboard a royal purple boat as you join Princess Rapunzel and Flynn Rider in celebrating their anniversary with a voyage around the kingdom! From seeing a performance by the rough and tumble patrons of the Snuggly Duckling to witnessing the wondrous lanterns in the sky, you're sure to have the "best day ever"!
I think a Hercules attraction is long overdue, and would provide an aesthetically unique area when compared to the rest of Fantasyland with the Grecian inspired architecture that is sure to now dot Fantasyland. In addition I love how you took it a step further and gave the ride an original and unique story that fits into the fact it's a boat ride.Hercules: Rising Tides
Replacing Voyage to the Crystal Grotto and taking place after the events of the Disney classic, guests join Hercules, Phil, Meg, and Pegasus on a mission to stop Hades from using Poseidon’s trident to unleash the aquatic Leviathan upon the city of Thebes. Guests won’t want to miss out on this god-tier (get it ) Disney parks attraction!
Everyone loves a Little Mermaid ride, and I think this is a fun take on the concept. It sounds like the existing Little Mermaid rides at Magic Kingdom and California Adventure but as a boat, and I actually think that may improve the setup. I think this attraction will be able to complement the heavy adventure focus at Shanghai Disneyland.A major problem I see with the Crystal Grotto is that it tries to tell 6 stories (including a Mulan that wasn't well-received in China) rather than 1. So I propose:
The Little Mermaid's Storybook Voyage
In this boat journey, follow the journey of Ariel as she tries to see her hope of being a human fulfilled. The 6 scenes will feature the hit songs from the cartoon, Ursula's death will be projected on the castle door's wall before entering the grotto, and the final scene inside will be King Triton and his daughters celebrating the marriage of Prince Eric and Ariel.
I think this is really unique, and stands as a chance to become a true Disney classic. I think the focus on European creatures may be entertaining to the Chinses audiences given how exotic they are to their culture, and provide differentiation to the norm. Hey if Animal Kingdom ever gets that mythical creatures land we'll know what ride to carbon copy overI think I'm leaning the most toward Pumbaa.
Fantasy River CruiseShanghai Disneyland lacks a Jungle Cruise, so this twist on the concept reusing Voyage to the Crystal Grotto's waterways will do nicely in filling the void. Guests aboard an old ramshackle boat are sent down the river and into the realm of mythical beasts, with twists on old Jungle Cruise gags (such as a unicorn who's chased three trolls up a tree and the ruins of an abandoned castle as opposed to an Indian temple [now populated by a "pride" of Manticores]), dive-bombing griffins, towering sea serpents, and a cave where fire-breathing dragons threaten to burn you to a crisp!
I'm surprised it took this long to get a Mulan prompt! With this said I like the idea of it, but I don't get why a 50 foot drop for the ending. Are we dropping into celebration at the end? A face off with Shan Yu? I just wish that what this ride tried to achieve was clearer.Voyage of Mulan
Situated behind Storybook Castle will be an ancient Chinese temple and scenic boat adventure following the journey of Disney's Mulan. Begin along a tranquil river, witness Mulan train to become a hero, and venture up and down the mystic hillside plummeting down a 50 foot drop into the center of Fantasyland below.
Pretty much the same critiques as @DashHaber as they both are similar rides due to their source material.Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure
This boat dark ride will follow Rapunzel and her journey with Flynn Rider, guests will be taken both inside showbuildings and taken outside to view the locations of the movie as well as give the illusion that they are visiting various areas like Rapunzel did.
Although late I'll still review thisI feel that this is coming in a bit too late since the next prompt has been posted already, but I'll post it regardless.
Voyages to the Unknown: A Frozen Adventure
Journey across the landscapes of Arendelle to seek Elsa and the Northuldra in the Enchanted Forest and guide them back to Arendelle for a kingdom-wide celebration and commemoration of the events of Frozen II. Through elaborate show scenes and state-of-the-art ride technology (as seen in Pirates of the Caribbean: Battle for the Sunken Treasure), guests will encounter raging rapids and whirlpools, stone giants, a temperamental water horse, and even a talking snowman!
Sorry if it wasn't clear, but by Alice-like dark ride I meant using a similar single rail dark ride system that can ascend or descend slopes and goes both indoors and outdoors similar to Alice at Disneyland. One thing of note is that I'm unsure if it is still boats or new vehicles, but it could just be me being thrown off by something.
The Sorcerer's Warmups
Heading into our 5th day of Sorcerer's Warmups, it's time to hear from some of the other folks who'll be sharing hosting duties this season. It's time to hear from HULK. It's also time to hear from Pete, one of several Disney Villains who threatened to destroy the Sorcerer's Apprentice Universe several decades ago back in 2019.
For Pete's Sake
This is the first of several unused stanzas from Sorcerer's Apprentice Season 5: Endgame, which I helped to co-host. For this prompt, we're looking to Mickey's Toontown in Disneyland, a land whose imaginative potential far outstrips its reality. Toontown is hidden far away in Disneyland's northern corners, beyond "small world" and beyond the berm. For many visitors - especially those without young children - the land's only calling card is Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin. Let’s change all that!
For this prompt, pitch a new E-ticket for Mickey's Toontown in Disneyland.
This prompt was conceived before Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway was announced, so let's pretend we're in an alternate universe without MMRR.
Imagineers during this practice prompt may use one to to sentences, plus one image. Good luck and remember to KISS: Keep it simple, weirdo
