YouTube is weird. Like, I do videos just as a hobby with no advertising or SEO optimization and mostly just for my own amusement, so I am used to not getting many views and don't mind. But I also just don't get out it works sometimes lol.

Part one of Beauty and the Beast went up yesterday and is one of my fastest growing gameplay videos in a while (19 whole views in under 36 hours! Stop the presses lol). Today Part 2 posted and after nearly 12 hours only has 2 views. One of which is me.

Simialrly, when I played Lion King, Parts one and two both had about 10-15 views. Part 3 has 36. All with the exact same tags and description and basically the same thumbnail.

Will never quite understand how this stuff works lol. But I guess I don't have to. I'm having fun practicing public speaking, quick thinking, video editing, and organization/management skills. Plus, it helps my speech impediment and I play a lot of cool old games and indie games I never would have otherwise.

Anyways, that was me rambling about how weird YouTube is while half asleep.

Because YouTube's algorithm sucks; its advertising sucks; its pathetic, AI-controlled copyright function sucks, completely going against the fair use policy; and it values making money on immature sociopaths who thinks finding a corpse and making jokes about it is good entertainment.
