Porco Rosso is fun!

If you can't tell with my love of OG Dragonball, I really like the more laid back, casual approach to anime and get turned off the more "epic" an anime tends to get, though I'm sure there's amazing "epic" shows out there. Porco Rosso is the definition of a laid back animation. Watching it feels like taking a vacation and I love how the film acts as a thesis statement for Miyazaki's love of flying.
