Just a quick not on Pandora at night.

Everyone I know who rode River Journey before seeing the land at night was disappointed. The ride does a much better at being full of life and lights. The land is underwhelming by comparison.

Everyone I know who saw the land at night before riding River Journey liked it more. Still a bit underwhelmed from very higher expectations, but they liked it.

I'll concur with what everyone is saying not to plan a day around seeing Pandora at night.

Also, the Germany buffet is the best table service in Epcot. Mexico has the best quick service. And the fish and chips in the UK are the best food I've ever gotten from a stand. (Though the waffle fries in Fronteirland are a close second).

@TheOriginalTiki To add to what others are saying.. Last week we arrived via bus to AK at 8:45am (park open is 9 but you can go on in). Having no bags, we went straight in towards FoP. We hit a full stop at a huge crowd at the Discovery Island/Pandora bridge before they let everyone past. Once in Pandora, the line (crowd) curved right, back towards Africa/Festival of the Lion king. The line made a "u turn" just before Lion King show building and then back under the bridge into Pandora, to the regular Stand-By entrance. Posted wait was around 135min at park open, but even as long as the line was, we only waited 75 min. It moved very quickly. Just don't be scared of posted long wait times. We rode it later at 7:00ish with a posted wait time of 120min and again it was only 75min wait. The queue is fantastic with lots of details to pass the time quickly.

Yeah, I've never waited the posted wait time for flight of Passage or mine train. And FoP has a great queue so the wait never feels bad. Plus! The FoP posted wait time includes like 10 whole minutes of preshow/safety videos.

From the sounds of think they change around rope drop a lot, but, honestly, try not to stress out too much about that. Even if you take a wrong turn and end up waiting, at most, and extra half hour it will still be an incredible experience.

@TheOriginalTiki this 100%

I specifically remember @MonorailRed 's route, but again -- that was months ago and like she and Pi are saying they change up the lines all the time...

Who knows it could be a completely different route than everyone is saying in a few weeks! Just follow the crowds and you will be fine.

So let's talk Fastpass times and the posibilty of getting a rope drop FoP ride (trust me...were early birds who are seasoned Disneyland veterans, we WILL be near the front of that crowd ;) ) plus a reride in post-rope drop standby and actually make it to our Fastpasses. It won't be the end of the world if we miss the FP window and thus won't be able to reserve more later on...especially Thursday since Extra Hours will be one giant Fastpass, but some beings as though I have no bearing on how long it takes to walk to either of these from Flight of Passage feedback would be helpful :)

Wednesday: Dinosaur 10AM-11AM
Thursday: Kali 9:45AM-10:45AM

Obviously leaning towards arriving in the back half of those time windows.

Of course there's always the possibility that I'll find FoP over-hyped and not have a desire to re-ride it beyond the two rope drop times we have planned, haha. Coming from someone who's passionately not a Soarin' fan.

Each is about a 5-10 minute stroll from Pandora (Dinosaur might be a little longer since it's the bottom right corner of the map) if you're heading straight towards them...DAK is actually an easy park to follow as it's basically a circle with spokes...

The bridge between Discovery Island and Dinoland is where I meet Joe during the Pandora Previews.
