Ironically Epcot is where I've eaten the most lol

Biergarten and Rose and Crown are two favorites...and for a less expensive dinner...you can try Seasons (it's not table service but really I don't need table service every night)

And then some good hidden gems in World Showcase
Katsura Grill in Japan, the outdoor restaurant in Mexico (forgot the name), Funnel Cake stand in American Adventure, and Via Napoli for pizza in Italy.

Ironically Katsura was the main place I was juggling between that and Coral Reef. Definitely NOT expecting Coral Reef to be a five star meal by any rate but as I've said it's the experience in itself were paying for. Via Napoli is what I have reservations for. Sorry I got the name somewhat wrong earlier, haha.

The argument Joker used is that there's always going to be ways to go to different ethnic restaurants...a lot of the time local spots serving better overall food way cheaper than the World Showcase counterpart...there's only one Coral Reef in terms of an "experience". And plus, how could I say no to getting to dine at the place where the Full House family found out Michelle was missing?!!? ( ;):p ) Don't worry though, I very much plan on doing my fair share of World Showcase snacking and will probably do Drinking Around the World (granted most likely will break that up throughout a few nights. I'm a bit of a lightweight :p )
I mean -- you brought up you weren't looking forward to Coral Reef and were thinking of canceling it.

I'm just saying if that is your line of thinking I'm not going to stop you haha -- I don't really have a leg in this debate;)

I was trying to figure out what the heck Napolini was lol

Via Napoli is awesome!! I don't know if you like artichoke pizza but they make the best. It didn't sound appetizing at first, but it's now my favorite pizza.

I've never had French food in my life. There's a strong possibility I would have walked away not eating half my plate at Les Chefs. ;)

Trust me, snails aren't the only things on the menu :hilarious:

I was going to cancel it if people said night time at Pandora is a must-do, but based on you and Voxel it doesn't really sound like that's the case. Don't worry, I'm not trying to get defensive, haha. Just laying out my logic.

Honestly I was hyping the experience as well... But in my opinion the food brought it down considerably - which was sad.

Trust me, bad seafood on vacation isn't fun. :hungover:

Back when I was a kid, the food was great! - But this new chef just....It's not worth it in my opinion.

The Odyssey was just open for Festival of the Arts last month and that was a relatively small festival. And yes I have been to Coral Reef...it used to be a go-to place for us, most recently we tried returning in 2012, but we haven't been back since because the menu has changed hands over the last few years and since the early 2000s along the redo of the pavilion with Nemo, it has gone downhill (to me personally).

If you want classic Epcot I think there are other places you can go where you get better quality food/service.

Exactly!

Wonders of Life should open for Flower and Garden. But Rose and Crown, Mexico, Garden Grill is original (Which I'm one of the few fans of for the views and food - if you enjoy Liberty Tree - Seriously consider changing to Garden Grill).

Yeah it's not a must do by any stretch -- I mean, it's cool, but if you're revolving a whole night around it that might be setting up for disappointment haha

Yeah The Land has some good venues and most of World Showcase is what it was in the 80s sans expansions like Via Napoli.

Is Starbucks original?:D

Pandora at night is good in specific areas.

Opening month it was great everywhere... but ya know... Budget cutbacks :bored:

The small paths in the middle of the land and the FoP queue are the best at night. The rest are meh in my opinion.

I would see it for a half hour, but I wouldn't spend all night there. There's so much at DAK at night that gets taken for granted.

Kilimanjaro has different animals at night - plus a simulated savannah sunset. Absolutely Beautiful. - I would go at night for that.

The Tree of Life is great as well - the different projections are so cool.

Also, Everest in my opinion is so different at night. The lighting changes everything.

To be fair, The Odyssey may not be open during Flower and Garden (I know it opens for Food and Wine, I've just never heard it opening for any other.) And I don't know if you've ever been to Coral Reef, but it's basically untouched since the pavilion opened. They still play the old area loop (albeit a variation on it specifically for the restaurant.) It's basically as close to the original Living Seas as you're ever going to get nowadays.

In terms of World Showcase, @MANEATINGWREATH and I tried desperately to convince him to go to Les Chefs de France as well. Personally my favorite restaurant on property let alone EPCOT.
It's been opened for every Festival since I've moved here in March. I was chilling out in it last week while drinking my afternoon coffee.

This! I love DAK at night just for the exploration of the park.

They've done a good job with the lighting for the pathways too -- it's just the right amount so you're not walking around in the dark, but at the same time doesn't feel like its taking you out of the dark, if that makes sense.
I would honestly pay to be able to sleep in a tent at Animal Kingdom. It's night environment makes you feel like Indy on an adventure.
