There has been speculation NBCU might buy WBD. If that happens and NBCU got the DC rights or worked something out with SF, Then Universal would gladly let go of the Marvel rights.

You sure about that? There’s no upside to getting rid of MSHI at the moment from Universal’s perspective. It’s sure as hell better than any of the Avengers Campuses.

Except corporations do not just "let go" of the rights to things that are profitable. They sell them, at the highest price possible, and only if a sale is deemed to be in their best interests. So even if Univeral were to find an appropriate replacement for Marvel, two things would still need to happen:

1) Universal would need to see a benefit in actually replacing Marvel and not just placing their new, shiny property elsewhere.

and

2) Disney would need to be willing to part with an arm and a leg, and they have yet to display such willingness.
