The return of old characters

Hook and Smee are far from forgotten, I see them every morning on Disney Junior in Jake and the Neverland Pirates. For better or worse, as long as the trend of using classic characters in Disney Junior programming continues, the classics won't be forgotten anytime soon.

I know 3 and 4 year olds who know who Capt. Hook and Smee better than most teenagers do. I would say that with Mickey Mouse, but he is probably one of the most well known characters. Minor characters off of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse are getting more love than they have in 30 or 40 years.

I forgot to say earlier now that Disney has the rights to Oswald I would love to see Oswald in the parks. We can't forget what Oswald did for Disney.

Oswald can live in the Kingdom for a year or two; then Mickey has to boot him out.

Gotta' keep thing historically accurate... ;)

I would love to see the Kingdom Hearts versions of Goofy and Donald. I've been begging to go to Disney for Halloween but our schedules never really permit it.

Jack and Sally are newish face characters at DL. And I believe there have been Kingdom Hearts Versions of Goofy and Donald in WDW for the Halloween Patries, but I could be wrong there

Here is a link to one of our WDWMagic members... he posted a pic of him with Sora and Kingdom Hearts Donald...

My kids would freak if they saw the Three Little Pigs. That's their current fave in their Disney music.

As for me...I saw Prince John from Robin Hood in a parade back in the mid 80s, but he's my #1 I'd love to meet. For whatever reason, I adore him!

I was happy to see Clarabelle and Horace in the MVMCP parade, but those are two others that I'd be acting like a giddy 4 year old if I saw them just taking pics with people. :D

I really hope the new Fantasyland has a spot for classic characters to appear. It's just not fair that some of the characters that people know and love never get to see the light of day!

When was the last time anyone saw Hercules and Meg out in the parks? Meg is always on the Fantasmic boat, but I could never find her out in the parks. She's one I would love to meet.

I definitely miss seeing Robin Hood and those guys. Used to always see them in UK in Epcot. Why'd they ever stop that?

I would be super excited to get to meet some of the older characters! I'd love to see the 3 little pigs, or run into the Queen from "Snow White" or Maleficent. :D

It'd be great if you could meet:

Basil the Great Mouse Detective and Ratigan
Sora
Oswald
The Horned King (Black Cauldron)
Tailspin characters
Bernard and Bianca (Rescuers)

I remember at Disneyland Paris there used to be a lot of rare characters out at Halloween like the Three Little Pigs, Big Bad Wolf, Frollo, Hades, Gaston, Merlin, John Smith, Gadget, Launchpad and Mr Walrus.
