The return of a Disneyland in Brazil - in a new location (open brainstorming)

The main problem, though, is I thought Jones' crew could not come ashore. I could be mistaken, though. Continuing on...

Somehow, your bateau makes it safely through the ship-to-shore battle to enter a dark cave ahead. This is where things start to resemble more like the Shanghai version. Sparrow and Scarlet hear of a hidden treasure here, hidden by Jones to retrieve later. It is said that the Flying Dutchman is the richest ship at sea, and Sparrow and Scarlet decide to take him down a couple pegs. Entering the cave, waterfalls cascade down as mist fills the area. Meanwhile, mermaids, similar to those in “On Stranger Tides”, seem to swim alongside our boats. It doesn't seem like much, but then Sparrow appears to ask your help in retrieving the booty - or rather, you doing the job yourself so Scarlet won't, while Sparrow decides to take care of Jones. Something strange is going on...

Suddenly, you find yourself pushed down a waterfall, about as tall as that second one in Disneyland, but deep enough to go underwater, apparently, where you can somehow breathe! Seems like the talking skull wasn't kidding about magic in this place.

Singing mermaids swim by in the area (through projections) through the remains of a sunken ship that had the misfortune of running into the Dutchman some time ago...
latest

You make your way through the wrecked remains of the ship. Through their song, the mermaids lure you over toward the treasure, so you will touch it and thus arouse their wrath so they can kill you! However, the bateau passes by before you can have the chance.

But the mermaids are not the only ones guarding the treasure and daring anyone to touch it and suffer the consequences. You see some members of Jones' crew guarding the treasure as well (and having to fend off the mermaids). They worry about the passersby in the bateaux wanting the treasure as well. Making your way around another bend, you hear Maccus, Jones' hammerhead shark-headed first mate, calling out in response to the commotion. He challenges you to get the treasure while Jones is about.

Finally, you see Jones himself, who suspects you of being in cahoots with Sparrow and wanting to steal the treasure. He challenges you to a fight! Meanwhile, overhearing the commotion, the mermaids show just how threatening they really are, baring their teeth, sharp like a shark, as they swim in to attack! The sound of battle is heard as Jones' crew and the mermaids are heard fighting! Meanwhile, Jones is heard making his way to the surface on the wrecked ship, where the Dutchman and Sparrow are waiting. You make your way up a small lift hill to simulate rising with them. The only part is, when you level off, you have climbed pretty high, much higher than before...

That's it for now. I feel like I'm just rambling here, but what do you think?

Does Jones play the organ like in the Shanghai version before the battle in the surface. I think Davy Jones later Will Turner could only go on shore every ten years.

You were talking about the crew though.

Yes, if the ship can't moor at shore, then the crew can't go ashore, either, can they?

Anyway, your bateaux is raised upward by the rising water. Davy Jones sees Capt. Jack Sparrow trying to make off with some of the treasure in the cove. They engage in a swordfight! But Sparrow's not the only one after the treasure - so too is Scarlet. She is seen trying to fight off Maccus. The fight, and your bateau's path, leads toward the hull of Sparrow's ship, the Black Pearl, where Sparrow and Scarlet are trying to escape. Inside the ship, Sparrow and Jones duel, while Scarlet duels with Maccus.

Finally, backed into a corner, Jones has one last trick up his sleeve. He sees several powder kegs in the corner and lights the fuse of one of them. Sparrow and Scarlet have to escape being blown up! This leads to a particularly surprising moment, and one that's never been seen before in a Pirates ride (or any Disney ride, for that matter), and the reason for pouches for your items you took on: the bateau is now on a coaster track like Journey To Atlantis:

As fireballs rage, the bateau zooms down a coaster track, twisting left and right, before landing hard in water below. At the bottom, you hear Jones admitting defeat and surrendering the treasure, but not before warning that they can turn into algae at any time. You see Sparrow and Scarlet reveling in their ill-gotten gains, but suddenly, sure enough, the treasure turns to algae. Sparrow and Scarlet are shocked, and Scarlet blames Sparrow for this and slaps him in the face before leaving him, while he wonders if he deserved that as he hums the iconic "Yo Ho" theme of the ride.

Meanwhile, you float back to shore and disembark.

I'm sorry it wasn't a good quality like @MANEATINGWREATH's or @DisneyManOne's. I was just trying to finish it quickly, and in my haste, I might have missed some things.

So, what did everyone think of the Pirates ride for this park? I think there are some wrinkles that need to be ironed out, but I'm not going to deal with them right now. I'm just upset that my verbal tours/walkthroughs are not as wonderfully written as @MANEATINGWREATH's or whoever.

You don't have to be upset about it! It's a good idea. Sometimes having something written with less detail and coverage is just as good as something with it. Not everyone likes to sit down and read something for hours on end. Heck, it even gets tiring writing HUGE posts like I do. I'm sure @DisneyManOne can relate to this.

There is no such thing as a bad idea in Armchair Imagineering. You're doing great work and it is admired and appreciated by the community. Keep it up, there is no reason to be upset.

But if it gets tiring to write huge posts, how come you do it anyway?

He's got a point, ya know. We always just try to keep working at it; whenever we have the time. It sure is hard when life gets in the way, but we always keep working hard at it.

You both pointed out that it gets tiring to do huge posts, as you both do. No offense, but if it gets tiring to do big posts, how come you do it anyway?

Because we love doing it. Obviously breaks are needed and real life does get in the way from time to time, but armchair Imagineering is a hobby in which I for one am very passionate about. To me, it's an escape and a fun past time. It might get tiring writing huge posts, but I always take breaks for days at a time and work at my own pace. I have two jobs, and I have to have those as a focus before projects such as my dream resort. Hence the lack of updates in the past few days. I haven't had the time. But I still love it. As soon as I get the time, I type away for as much as I can.

Based on what I've posted so far, here's what this park has:
  • A whimsical version of Main Street, tentatively called Dream Street
  • A castle based on the upcoming new design for Hong Kong
  • An Adventureland that merges that land and Frontierland into one, as per the original plans for Hong Kong
  • Train station with a coffee shop inside (sponsored by Starbucks)
  • Likewise, train around the park has seating for drinks so you can take them on
  • A new land: International Expo Gardens, home to the following:
    • It's a Small World (making it the first and only Small World not found in Fantasyland)
    • Soarin' (with a different closing, set in Rio de Janeiro)
    • Character meet-n-greet trails like Fantasy Gardens (where you can meet Jose Carioca)
  • Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Cove (new name), which will be the first-ever water coaster in a Disney park
And that's all for now. Remember the earlier idea I had of a river rapids ride for this Adventureland/Frontierland hybrid that encompasses elements of both Jungle Cruise and the Rivers of America? Well, as such, I think the best way to describe it is like Tokyo's Western River Railroad, but in the water rather than on rails.

In case you don't know (which you probably do if you're a serious park fan), the trains at Tokyo Disneyland don't go around the park as in other parks. Rather, they go through parts of Adventureland and much of Westernland (their equivalent of Frontierland). For reference, here is a video of the ride in action:

I will soon start providing ideas for this ride, which will also combine elements with the Jungle Cruise and the Rivers of America. It will also be something like the upcoming Infinity Falls at Sea World in Orlando:

I think a tentative name for this ride could be the Adventure River Expedition, Or in Portuguese, "Expedição do Rio Aventura". Similar to Paris, many of the rides' names will be done in Portuguese.

After watching this film where do you think the world of Coco would fit in the park unless Disneyland Brazil has there own version of Disney Illuminations/Ignite the Dream with a Coco segment.

The only way that "Coco" might fit in the park is if the characters were included in Small World, like other Disney characters. I really hadn't planned on any "Coco"-based rides at this time.

Well if its Ignite the Dreams/Disney Illuminations it could easily fit in the show. Shanghai Disneyland's Ignite the Dreams has Mulan, Disneyland Paris' Disney Illuminations has Beauty and the Beast so Disneyland Brazil's version of Ignite the Dream/Disney Illuminations could have Coco as a segment after Pirates with Mickey entering the world of Coco by crossing the bridge to the land of the dead.
