This would be me, and there would be 4 grocery orders ....mobile apps are sometimes evil to me.

Yeah!!When i asked the GS CM if I could apply both sets of tickets she turned to the guy sitting next to her and asked him. He shrugged and said, “I guess. I would.”

This was my first time staying at GF. I have stayed at all the DVC resorts now except Hilton Head. But my youngest will be going to school in South Carolina next year so it is just a matter of time.I'm a little late to the party but better late than never they say! I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. This trip is just what you need after such a loss. How exciting that you're back in the DVC AP group again!!! I hope that means there will be more TR's in our future by you! I've don't remember ever reading one your TR's where you have stayed at the GFV before. I don't care for the first floor either, but you certainly scored a beautiful view at least! We are staying there with our daughters in December and can't wait! You certainly had to work for that beer at Baseline but I'm sure it was worth it! Can't wait to hear more.

The bus was full but the ride was uneventful and we were dropped at the front of Epcot.
Those of you who really know me know what my first stop was.
On my way…such pretty flowers I had to admire them for a moment. After all, it had been 11 months since I had been inside Epcot, or any Disney park for that matter.
Here we are…
They were just reopening from the storm so in my mind I was rope dropping the Canada beer stand.

I was a bit hungry. I was regretting not getting the charcuterie board at Baseline. I thought about going back but told myself that was dumb. I was surrounded by food. Some good, some not as good. And there it was…from Florida Fresh

I asked what kind of fish and the answer was grouper! YES PLEASE!!!
Out if this world delicious @PineapplePrincess ) hot, juicy and seasoned just so. Went great with my Moosehead.

I wanted to ride something. But what? Well, if the beer cart was down due to weather Test Track was as well. And, I assumed, it should be reopening right about now. I hustled over as I heard the first cars start to cycle through. I got in the single rider line and waited about 5 minutes. I don’t love this ride, I used to before the changes but I am not big on designing my own car. I am competitive though! There was a couple behind me and their two young daughters were in the front with me. I asked them which car was “ours” and I cheered my lungs out. Their parents, after the ride, probably warned them about taking drugs
Sent this to my friend because I always do.

I was texting my sister on the monorail telling her to let me know when she leaves and to give me an ETA. Then I nearly jumped out of my pants because this little trap door opened. Out of nowhere. In an empty car except for me.
Was it an omen? A message?
I headed into MK. Wait times were crazy!
I wanted to ride something but what???
The train! Yes. No pictures because I just enjoyed a round trip. You never know how much you miss something until it is gone and then it comes back.
On to dinner. Mobile ordered from my good friend Bill. Pecos Bill that is…

Then I was strolling down Main Street when a had a vision. It was peanut buttery but I could not remember much else. I had to reach out to my good friend @Loco_driver and ask for assistance.
So good. But I forgot the napkins! Get napkins if you get this because there is a fudgy center and it was still 80+degrees.
I still hadnt heard from my Sister. I assumed she had not left yet even though it was after 6:30. I boated back to GV. I ate a few bites of that cookie thing but I was making a mess so I put it away until I could get a napkin.
Since my sister was still over an hour out, I assumed, since she hadn't texted to tell me she left, I thought I would jump on a bus to Animal Kingdom. Why not break this AP in properly?
I stepped onto the dock and my phone rang. It was my sister. She had arrived. Animal Kingdom would have to wait.

I met my sister out in the parking lot to help with her bag, aw shucks, I wanted to help with the cooler. Geez.
I handed her the cookie bag and I grabbed the cooler. She also had a huge tote filled with pictures and stuff from my Dad’s apartment. “I figure you can just take this on the plane”, she said. “Ummm, do you know how planes work?” I said. “I can only take one bag and one personal item.” We lugged the tote to the room anyway.
We freshened up and took a walk. She had never stayed at GF either. I have to say, it is pretty and the rooms are nice but it’s not that great. It is crowded, the pools are small, its loud and it is crowded.
Now that I think of it, the dvc resort studio, while large and gorgeous was also meh. It didnt have a refrigerator. They have coolers that look like refrigerators, but they arent. I did not find it worth the points to be honest. As for location, I prefer BLT. Easy walk to MK, easy walk or monorail back to the resort.
Fireworks?
We went to my favorite spot to watch MK fireworks, Top of the World lounge.
Recently TotW has become a ca$h draw. Of course it has. It is now a prix fixe by reservation. They do allow walk ups to purchase drinks at the bar in “to go cups” (their words) that can be consumed out on the patio.
Sounds good.
We got in line and asked if there was availability and the CM told us to come back at 8:30.
We took a walk around BLT and the contemporary. Then sat in the beach so the no see ums could feast upon my flesh.
At 8:30 we went up. The CM did not even ask to see my DVC card. Odd.
We grabbed drinks. Some sparkling wine for my sister and a corona for me, then claimed our spot on the ledge.
And we watched. I tried not to sing too loud.
Blurry but I so not care.

They’re just testing out the new Haunted Mansion overlay that’s coming to the monorails. It’s supposed to be a new offering for Not So Scary this year to help add a sliver of value to the insane party ticket price.Then I nearly jumped out of my pants because this little trap door opened. Out of nowhere. In an empty car except for me.

First off, so very sorry to hear about the loss of your Pop. That is rough. But, you were lucky to have him in your life for so many years.
We feel very fortunate and blessed to still have both Mom and Pop with us, and in good health. Pop turned 90 on Jan. 1st, and Mom turned 84 on Apr. 15th.
Secondly, I’m a bit late, but, I made it…!!!
