Trip Report THE ONE WITH THE FRIENDS IN FEBRUARY; Feb 16-23, 2019 *COMPLETE*

Hi all. Just returned from our February break trip and I can’t wait to share it with you!
First things first.....

THE WHO:
We have some friends we go away with every other February break.
In 2017 we did a Royal Caribbean cruise:

In 2015 we stayed in a grand villa at AKL:

And in 2013 we did the Disney Dream:

We have another son, X, who was at school and did not come with us but makes a guest appearance, or two❤️

Our friends

Their oldest is away at college.

THE WHERE
We stayed in the Saratoga Springs Treehouse villas. Love them!!! More later!

They are great. I wish we would have scheduled more downtime to fully enjoy them. There is a charcoal bbq by the steps to the deck- I would have loved to have cooked outside and made some smores with the kids. Speaking if kids....how is your little angel?

This is so weird!!! All day I was going over my “to do” list in my head
Pay target bill
Give dog a bath
Email dvc re: fireworks cruise
Etc..,,

Then my phone rings and its a Lake Buena Vista number. Uh oh. It was Krista, the dvc supervisor I have been going back and forth with about our original December cruise. She said she got an email that I wanted to talk to her. Freaky! Right???
I will give you more details after I am done with day 4.

I usually sit on the right. But Ant took the brunt of the soaking for me this time.

The lighting is not great but H was completely wet.
The kids loved it- so did the adults! It was a nice warm morning. We would dry...eventually.

While we snacked, Dre, R and H headed over to do the Swiss family treehouse. L waited for them at the exit but they managed to evade her. We then spent some time looking for L. We found her, right where we left her and called off the BOLO.

Then we headed towards 7DMT. I was so happy to get a FP. We had missed this ride on our December trip and I love it! I love singing 🎶High Ho.....🎶 at the top of my lungs while rocking the car back and forth.
The things that bring us joy.
It helps that this makes my kids want to shrivel up and die of embarrassment😉

On one of our WDW trips about 15 years ago, we went to Kennedy Space Center. We were on a bus tour there, and there was a group of about 20 teenage girls. They were all putting on their deodorant. My husband thought it was so funny.

Just signed onto your TR! It's so nice to have a group travel together that get along so well! We've stayed in just about every Disney resort with the exception of the treehouses. Glad to hear that you enjoyed it so much! Love your matching T-shirts! We were at WDW Feb. 5-12th and found the crowds pretty bad. It seems that you didn't have the same experience! I'm really enjoying your TR! :)
