I can't believe those boys and the mom

That ravioli looks so good I hope they have it at next year F&W

Hi. I couldnt believe those boys either. And they continue to come to the varsity games which annoys me because I dont think they should be allowed on campus. They dont even go to the high school!
But enough about me,

We scarfed down the ravs and moved on. I will be honest, SIL and I were in perfect sync at this point. We were thinking one thing: nudel gratin and becks. Ok, we were thinking two things.

We were still dreaming of the nudel gratin we had eaten three weeks prior. It was delicious this time as well. We also ordered some beer. J’s late husbands favorite beer was Beck’s so we got some and toasted to him.

I had gotten a Frozen FP earlier in the day, I think as we were leaving MK, and it wad almost time. But first some shopping. (I live with boys, I never get, ok, I rarely get to shop)

If I had room in my carryon shopping would have quickly turned to buying!!!

I love these. I took so many years of ballet as a child. I hated it but still love ballerina stuff.

No time for an Aass, we had to get inside for our Frozen FP!
Tipsy patron number 4 was sitting outside Frozen on the curb. He had three yummy looking frozen drinks in front of him and his eyes were crossing. SIL asked, “what’s that?”
“Life changing,” he slurred and pointed to a kiosk. A kiosk with a huge line. Huge! Too long for us, we had a FP for Frozen!!!
SIL looked at me. I said,

We hopped on line and were so close. How close? We were the next behind the line on the floor to go line up for the boats. In other words, we were next to get our row assignment.
Then everything stopped and we were all asked to leave.
Ok, but what about our fastpasses? We had tapped in already. The CM said someone would help us at the exit. Guess what? No one was there to help us at the exit. No one was there at all. I went into the perfume shop and asked a CM if she knew where I could find a CM to help us. She walked us outside and pointed to a small crowd surrounding one CM under an umbrella. I apologized and told her I thought they were checking in for dinner. She laughed and started to walk me over. I told her she didnt need to but her reply, “I need to know what is going on too.” I thought that was a good reply.
So this one CM was there and was getting hounded by people who had waited in a long line or like me had lost a fastpass. She was very nice. And patient. And outnumbered.
Then she said something that caught me ear. An alarm had sounded which caused the evacuation. I have learned here that the alarm is probably nothing but it could be fire or carbon dioxide or whatnot. The point is/was it was a safety issue. I said something to that fact, on the loud side, hoping some of the crowd would see reason. She grabbed my hand with both of hers as to thank me.

Perfect time for an Aass!!!

It was a beautiful night.

I had made a SSE FP after our Frozen fail. We headed that way, I think everyone from Frozen was in that line. We decided to head back to BLT. It was 8:00. Still early but we had been up since early and tomorrow we were rope dropping FoP.

This isn't really this bad of a picture. Some where along the line I switched to live mode on my phone’s camera.

The beginning of the pix looks really good!

On our monorail ride home we debated watching fireworks from Top of the world lounge.

NOTE: This is my TR and I am going to allow this next gif.

On the monorail we were talking and giggling and having fun. I said I was really bummed we didnt get to go on Frozen. “We were so close. It was like kissing your brother.”
Well, you could have heard a pin drop in our car. It seems Long Islanders do not know that expression. They had a lot of fun, at my expense. We were all laughing, I was tryin to defend myself, “it’s a saying I swear!” Then J says, “I dont know what you and your brother do.”
“My brother is dead.”
Another pin drop. I did not mean for that happen. Finally I googled the expression and credit is given to Back to the Future for it’s origin. Ha!!!
Please people, you have heard this expression before right? Maybe some of you have used it??
Help a girl out!

When we got to the Contemporary we thought a snack was a good idea. Something healthy??

No! We got a cookie or two to share and headed back to the room.

I took the pull out chair again as tomorrow my plan comes to fruition.

I have definitely heard that expression before and not only from Back to the Future. Love the TR, BTW. Always do!

I know the movie quote, but I’ve never heard it used in conversation. I don’t have a brother, but I’m not sure I’d use the phrase in your context of “we were so close” 🤔😂 If I knew how to post gifs I’d post the one where Monica realizes Ross was her midnight mystery kisser back in 1987...
