The before stuff

This September trip was planned before my August trip. Back in March, I had so much fun at Flower and Garden I thought it would be fun to do a girls trip for Food and Wine. I asked SIL if she wanted to go (a long shot) and she said yes! Yay! (The fact that she went in August still amazes me). She suggested her friend and neighbor, who I know and like, come with us. I then asked my friend B, who everyone likes, and she said yes so we had a foursome.

I wanted an Epcot resort, of course, but no DVC rooms were available. Ok. Next best was a monorail resort. Nothing available. Third was Wilderness lodge for it’s proximity to the MK and monorail. I was able to get a one bedroom. I also wait listed BLT and Boardwalk.

Months went by. T shirts were ordered. Menus printed. Fastpasses procured. We kept in touch with a group text I appropriately named the Disney Winos. Then one day I got the email. BLT had come through!!! I excitedly typed a text telling the ladies all the virtues of BLT. The monorail, walking to MK, fireworks from TotWL, the heavenly smell of the lobby and the piece de resistance, TWO BATHROOMS!!!

I immediately got a reply....from a guy on my volleyball team. Oooops. In my excitement I sent it to the wrong wino. He did say it sounded awesome

We had one planning meeting. We met up for Dole whips at a grocery store after work.

I forgot to take the picture before we ate the dole whips. (And J got vanilla??? What is with that?)

Final plans were made and everyone got to meet face to face. B agreed to put the amazon order in because she has a prime account. I handed out the tshirts we discussed airport logistics and we were ready!!!

Lastly, I did not take notes this trip. It was just so quick and I was always go go go. I took pictures and I have a few good stories to tell.
I also met some magicians which is always a good time.
