The next big thing........Another live trip report!

In honor of @disneysince71, I'd like to post as we go. It was so much fun reading along, I figured, "why not?" I tried this in February, but it only lasted half the trip. I picked up a stomach bug midway and ended up tossing the phone in the sink in the wee hours of the morning ending any updates. Hope to avoid that this time! :mad: iphones can be expensive! Anyway, I can't promise to be as active as she was, but I'll try to keep it current and not aggravate my wonderful family as we enjoy Disneyworld!
On a side note, our flight has already been delayed until 6:50 PM. We were hoping to check in at the Yacht Club then head to MK for EMH. Don't think that will happen now, but we shall see what we shall see.
The trip is from Today, June 30 through July 14. The first week will be spent at the YC. Our second week at AKL. My wife and I will be traveling with our son, 10, and daughter, 8. Very excited, but now bummed with this delay! :(

Oh my! Me too...!
One of my earliest Disney Park memories was of the PoTC attraction and water smell at Disneyland on my very first visit, at the tender age of 6 ;), back in '68! :) The other 3 attractions I have pretty vivid memories of from that trip are IaSW, Mine Train Through Nature's Wonderland, and Adventure Through Inner Space. The last 2 being long extinct.
Woof! Magical memory lane...!!! :)

But, I have a deadline on a lake house design to meet tomorrow (although, I probably won't get any more than the usual 4-5 hours of sleep tonight, anyway), so I'm out for now...

Sounds a LOT like our pace, actually. :) Granted, we're only there for a week (although, I'm pretty sure, for ME anyway, 2 weeks wouldn't be enough :D), and we're a bit older ;), but EMH-EMH is pretty much how we roll. DW and myself are bigger "Disnuts" than ever, along with our kiddos, and we don't even take resort breaks anymore like when they were younger. I think it's mostly a "Disney High" thing that keeps us rockin' it all day long, these days...! :)

Oh that "Disney High" it's what keeps me going on day six in a row when my friends are lagging on day 4. They're not highly trained like I am ;)

We are still recovering almost a week later. somehow, i picked up the flu. started feeling it our last two days in WDW, but I just started getting a little better yesterday. too many days of burning that Disney candle at both ends. We have just about a week and a half before we head to Phoenix and then to Disneyland. Hoping we are all well rested by then

We absolutely LOVE the Laugh Floor! :)
I, of course, have always wanted to be "That guy"...no dice, so far...! ;)
But in '12 during the preshow I was "Needs a hug" (Oldest DD promptly obliged, and we got a good chuckle from the rest of the audience :D), and this past June I was "Will buy everybody Churros"!
Also, at that same show in June Oldest DD texted in a joke that was used...
"Why did the tomato blush? 'Cause it saw the salad dressing!"...!!! :p :D ;) :)
