The next big thing........Another live trip report!

In honor of @disneysince71, I'd like to post as we go. It was so much fun reading along, I figured, "why not?" I tried this in February, but it only lasted half the trip. I picked up a stomach bug midway and ended up tossing the phone in the sink in the wee hours of the morning ending any updates. Hope to avoid that this time! :mad: iphones can be expensive! Anyway, I can't promise to be as active as she was, but I'll try to keep it current and not aggravate my wonderful family as we enjoy Disneyworld!
On a side note, our flight has already been delayed until 6:50 PM. We were hoping to check in at the Yacht Club then head to MK for EMH. Don't think that will happen now, but we shall see what we shall see.
The trip is from Today, June 30 through July 14. The first week will be spent at the YC. Our second week at AKL. My wife and I will be traveling with our son, 10, and daughter, 8. Very excited, but now bummed with this delay! :(

Now there's a familiar sight! Just down the road a piece from us! :)
When our DD's were in HS choir we used to work concessions at all the UT football home games to earn money for choir trips. The last one was youngest DD and DW to SoCal for a week in '10 with one day at DLR. DS and myself flew out for 48 hrs. to join them just for the DLR day. Hadn't been since '87...! :eek:

Yep, we've used PP the last 2 trips and haven't regretted it either time. So many cool pics!
Hope the last day blues aren't too bad...! Plus, didn't you mention at some point that y'all have an upcoming trip to DLR in a coupla' weeks to look forward to, also...? How AWESOME is that?!?! :)
I'm still not even at the halfway mark of gettin' caught up on THIS thread. Better get an immediate start on the DLR one! Was gonna' check out some more after my Disney Store shift last night, but the Store was a disaster, we didn't get outta' there 'til almost 11p (we close at 9p), and I was wiped. Have a 1p-5p shift at TDS today with a 5p-7p on call. Will try to finish catchin' up today...I hope...! :confused:
Anyway, have a safe and expeditious trip home, and keep smilin' about that upcoming DLR adventure...!!! :)

Yes. We are leaving for Phoenix on June 30, then disneyland from there August 4 to the 10. Coming back to WDW for a long weekend in October too. Blues aren't too bad. Ready to get home and relax by the pool
