The next big thing........Another live trip report!

In honor of @disneysince71, I'd like to post as we go. It was so much fun reading along, I figured, "why not?" I tried this in February, but it only lasted half the trip. I picked up a stomach bug midway and ended up tossing the phone in the sink in the wee hours of the morning ending any updates. Hope to avoid that this time! iphones can be expensive! Anyway, I can't promise to be as active as she was, but I'll try to keep it current and not aggravate my wonderful family as we enjoy Disneyworld!
On a side note, our flight has already been delayed until 6:50 PM. We were hoping to check in at the Yacht Club then head to MK for EMH. Don't think that will happen now, but we shall see what we shall see.
The trip is from Today, June 30 through July 14. The first week will be spent at the YC. Our second week at AKL. My wife and I will be traveling with our son, 10, and daughter, 8. Very excited, but now bummed with this delay!

Alrighty then, got some stuff knocked off my ever-expanding honey-do list. Nothin' planned 'til a belated b-day lunch with oldest DD at 2p and then a 5:30-10:30 closing shift at The Disney Store (my weekend gig ).

This one really made me chuckle 'cause it sounds just like somethin' I would say...!

Also, BTW, I think I remember seein' you post somethin' about not being much of a dessert guy on here somewhere. I'm the same way. But, the last 2 trips we've purchased the DDP, only 'cause it was 50% off to CM's (You don't wanna' know what my discounts are on resorts and merchandise - sans adult beverages, sadly. ).
Anyhoo, we had the plan for 6 days each trip, so 24 desserts in all. That's easily more dang desserts than I've ordered at restaurants in the last 2 decades...!
Don't get me wrong, they were awesome, and thankfully it all got walked off, but geez...!

Club Cool and Beverly in the house!

Not bein' a soda pop guy (I don't even drink coffee - nor does DW ), I pretty much drink just tap water and, of course by now everyone knows, beer. That bein' said, I love me some Beverly! I always load up while we're in Club Cool and then walk out with a coupla' cups to go...!

Kids want to head back to AKL for a swim and Disney trivia. Going to under the sea first. Going to keep our boma ADR. We had booked a liberty tree dinner as well, but we will cancel that!!

Not really a like- but you get the pic. I wish you could send some of this rain our way...bone dry here in TX and would gladly take that FL rain. BTW- already thinking about mango shooters for the Dessert Party tonight.
