The next big thing........Another live trip report!

In honor of @disneysince71, I'd like to post as we go. It was so much fun reading along, I figured, "why not?" I tried this in February, but it only lasted half the trip. I picked up a stomach bug midway and ended up tossing the phone in the sink in the wee hours of the morning ending any updates. Hope to avoid that this time! iphones can be expensive! Anyway, I can't promise to be as active as she was, but I'll try to keep it current and not aggravate my wonderful family as we enjoy Disneyworld!
On a side note, our flight has already been delayed until 6:50 PM. We were hoping to check in at the Yacht Club then head to MK for EMH. Don't think that will happen now, but we shall see what we shall see.
The trip is from Today, June 30 through July 14. The first week will be spent at the YC. Our second week at AKL. My wife and I will be traveling with our son, 10, and daughter, 8. Very excited, but now bummed with this delay! :(

OK, it's half-day Friday so I'm home from the office early after runnin' a coupla' errands, it's 100+ degrees outside again, and I'm sittin' on the bed with the laptop and an ice cold malted adult beverage (it's 5 o'clock somewhere ;)) next to me.
Let's see if I can get some more catchin' up done on this thread...! :)

I'm not sure who was the first to start doing the live tr's, but thank you, thank you, thank you. I love living vicariously through you guys.

Vicariously, schmicariously! I may be crazier than a poophouse rat, but I feel like I'm actually there...! :p ;) :)

Edit: If you can do the live TR thing it sure seems like the way to go. You do it as it's happening and don't have to keep a notebook or somethin' every night and you don't leave out much, if anything, 'cause your postin' as it's happening, or shortly thereafter. Sure beats tryin' to remember it all after you get back and sittin' there face palming yourself sayin'... OK, OK...what was it we did again after BTMRR on day 3...?!?!?! ;)

Decided to cancel Boma and move it to tomorrow night. Going to the pool instead and we will just get a bite to eat down there. We have Liberty Tree lunch and Boma dinner scheduled for tomorrow (our last full day) and the Wishes dessert party tomorrow night!!!! Long, busy day planned.

Just one last peak from our balcony first!

Love the pictures!! Great day at MK! Have a Chimay at BOG. Yummy!

OMG!!!!!!!
Did somebody just say CHIMAY?!?!?!
The blue label (Grand Reserve) is my ALL TIME fave adult beverage!!! The only reason I didn't order it there was 'cause they only had it in the little bottles and it was, as you can imagine, quite pricey. I had a coupla' Hoegaardens instead, which definitely sufficed! ;)

Tomorrow does sound busy. I would be in big trouble with BOMA and Wishes Dessert Party in the same day...can you imagine the report from the emergency room? "Subject was already stuffed with Zebra Domes when he arrived for more sweets."
My sugar has gone up just thinking about it...have fun!

I'm not a huge dessert person, but I will have 3 or 4 bowls of ice cream at the party!!! :)

Three of them are lying down outside our balcony as I type. They do it nightly. I thought they say on KS giraffes don't sleep much. I always thought they slept standing, too.

This was the view about an hour ago (about 9:00 PM).

Giraffes sleep on average 30 mins per day. Learned that during the "Backstage Safari" tour on our last trip to The World.

Just put the kids down after another great day. Pool wasn't crowded at all! Grabbed some dinner at Mara and relaxed tonight. Planning on getting up early again tomorrow and watching the opening show at Magic Kingdom one last time this trip.

It's oldest DD's 22nd b-day today. This is one of the few times we haven't been in WDW on her birthday. Last July she got engaged in front of the Castle on her 21st birthday. I still tease her that she wasn't born 'til 10:56 at night. She is gonna' call me when that time rolls around...! Thanks for the constant reminder of how much WE TOO love our families and WDW also, coach!
