The next big thing........Another live trip report!

In honor of @disneysince71, I'd like to post as we go. It was so much fun reading along, I figured, "why not?" I tried this in February, but it only lasted half the trip. I picked up a stomach bug midway and ended up tossing the phone in the sink in the wee hours of the morning ending any updates. Hope to avoid that this time! iphones can be expensive! Anyway, I can't promise to be as active as she was, but I'll try to keep it current and not aggravate my wonderful family as we enjoy Disneyworld!
On a side note, our flight has already been delayed until 6:50 PM. We were hoping to check in at the Yacht Club then head to MK for EMH. Don't think that will happen now, but we shall see what we shall see.
The trip is from Today, June 30 through July 14. The first week will be spent at the YC. Our second week at AKL. My wife and I will be traveling with our son, 10, and daughter, 8. Very excited, but now bummed with this delay! :(

At the bus stop now to head back to YC for a swim. Will be back for BOG ADR for 4!

So far this morning we ate at CP for 8, walked right into the mirror room to see Storytime with Belle (Brayden was Beast, Madelyn was Maurice, and I a guard), then walked right onto under the sea

We picked up PP FPs then headed to BRNRR. No wait there so we ride three straight times (with empty seats).

We also picked up FPs for splash and did that before we headed to Peter Pan. Picked up FPs for Pooh.

After PP, we meet Peter, rode HM (again without a wait, walked right into the first room) then went to the carousel. After that, we headed to Pooh

All if this before 11:20 this morning!!

Walking out against traffic on Main Street was crazy. It's definetly going to be a very crowded afternoon. That's why we are headed back for a swim

Haha, no. Just observing what coach is updating, then commentating.;)
Oh. I really wish I was there right now!!! Our trip in April was great, but the crowds were simply horrible. Can't wait to get back at a time we usually go to get that nightmare crowd out of my mind. We would never have gone the last week of spring break if it wasn't the only time my daughter's boyfriend could go. We had to miss SWW for the first time in a very long time. She starts college in August, so it will be Christmas before we can go back, and that depends on when her finals are over. Don't want to get into those Christmas crowds.

Because we made an error in the rope drop time, our CP breakfast was abbreviated. We only met two characters. We knew at some point it would get crowded, and wanted to leave by then. So we hustled into the park. Turns out, we really didn't need to hustle all that much. Crowds stayed light until around 11 am.

Looks like you guys are having fun! Do you have any plans for BOMA at the AKL?
Yes. We are switching to AKL for the last 7 days. We have ADRs for dinner at Boma and lunch at Sanaa. My wife and I also have a date night set up when the kids will head to Simba's Clubhouse. We plan on getting a few drinks at the bar in AKL that night. Plenty of good dining scheduled for our second week at AKL!!! I need my share of Tusker Lager!
