Hi all...as most of you know Miss Maggie has had her feeding tube since December of 2005 when she was 3.5 years old.
It has been a struggle to get her to eat without a tube..but with a lot of patience and therapy she started to eat and as of November of 2008 we decided to quit tube feeding and see what happens.
We went to the GI today and as of June 2009
Miss Maggie Grace will be tube free..:sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:
I have been waiting for this since she got the tube and it has been both a blessing and a burden but we managed and we did what we had to do and it has all paid off.
I just wanted to share our great news with everyone and thank everyone here who has supported us through eveything.
My little 15 oz baby girl who we never thought would make it is just a perfectly normal helathy happy rotten little girl..
She does not have to have surgery on her leg or wear a brace as her leg has corrected on its own..:sohappy: and she will not have her feeding tube either.
She starts pre-k 4 in august..
which I think will be harder on me then it will on her.. and we just feel truly blessed about everything.
