Im happy there doing something but I really don't believe there going in the right direction. All it is is princess theming for young girls, meet n greets replacing meet n greets, a clone of the DCA ride, and a few new shops and restaurants. There is nothing really new.

They could have at least brought over Pinnochio's Darign Journey, Casey jr., or Alice in wonderland or they could have built a new dark ride.

The Villians/Shadow Land proposal was far more promising.

I think it is something they will consider for DHS. But only after Pixar Place is developed. Could be DL has the only stateside toon town. I like the idea of the fab 5 having M&G's on Main Street.

If the plans are real or not, and circumstantial evidence seems to point to yes, they are an interesting take on what will or could going into that area.

So it's okay to clone 20+ year old dark rides, but not a new one?

People with children enjoy attractions and rides like Disneyland's fantasyland has.

In response to the "Princess" land that we are seeing on the plans, I don't think it's too 'girly'. I think it's a fair balance between Adventureland and Fantasyland. Adventureland is very boyish.

A Snow White themed attraction wouldn't fit with this (finally organized) layout though.

The writing on the Barnstormer says something Coaster. It looks like it reads "Cheese Coaster", but there's track interfering with the text. I don't think it reads Mine or Dwarves Coaster, but that seems to indicate some level of retheming.

Why is it ok when Lee/Martin/WDW1974/Tirian/etc. critize disney but when I do it you have a real problem

What does it say ontop of the word Belle in the schematics? Does it say B&B attraction?? If we get a B&B dark ride I will :sohappy:

It looks like it says Belle Attraction. To me the Princess attractions look like they have separate rooms like Mickey's House has and could be multiple meet and greet locations to keep lines short.

Some folks at Micechat are saying this map is fake



Another person is saying that all DLP did was take the schematic shape of the 20k showbuilding and slaped the little mermaid on it. Thats why it looks so small because its not the real show building for mermaid its just a photoshop job.

If so, it's a good fake. I wouldn't rule it out though if so, congrats to the OP who was duped a rabid Disney fan community. I hope you like flames...

You're saying two different things here. Bring over a bunch of mediocre B/C ticket (that's generous for Pinnochio) clones, or build something far more ambituous like the Villains/Shadow land. Now things like Stitch's Supersonic Celebration would contradict this, but it does seem to be that the focus on the parks now is quality over quantity. They're investing $1.2 billion at DCA and it's only including one E-Ticket. They could have just as easily put in 6 $200 million attractions and not tried to retheme and rebrand the park. I don't think B/C tickets have gone by the way side, but I don't expect to see as many mediocre to poor dark rides like Pinnochio being the saviors of the parks. I would much rather have one D/E ticket like Little Mermaid, than three B/C tickets like Pinnochio, Alice in Wonderland and Casey, Jr.

Even if this is real and it gets built why are you so excited about a ton of princess meet and greets for kids and a few trees? Your a grown man. What are you some kind of pervert or something?

Yeah, there is not really a defending Conundrum on this one. His post was a full four minutes before JT's.

I have a feeling he might be wearing out his welcome.

With regard to the plans, I think we have to remember this is just an overhead plan of the area. This might not take into account retheming or other refurbs. I don't know any facts, just saying that the refurb may encompass more than just one blueprint.
