I just don't think they would be having an event like the D23 Expo and then ignore WDW. They just can't be that stupid. No way.
Oh jt...you have so much to learn.

Just look at it's location, it's line up of events, the people attending it....
Thank you!:sohappy::wave:Yup. Everything points to minimal WDW representation.

And people wonder why I have opinions.
They will be talking about global products and theme parks half way around the world. And Iger is the CEO over WDW too. Location means nothing in a global economy. I really wish you would be a bit more specific. State your case.
Thank you!:sohappy::wave:
Seriously, I was beginning to think I was nuts. Sheesh.
Honestly, I know it's a Disney Expo...But isn't it a bit much for ONE show? Disney is too diverse to showcase in one place.
If they really want to make this a big event, make it EVENTS. Main Expo is in DL, for DL and other BIG projects. WDW Expo has WDW Stuff and other relevant topics to our parks. Put one up in Asia, seeing that Shanghai might be adressed.
Have the DL one, lead, but have others for the rest.
In fact, in doing that, it would take away one of my biggest D23 gripes- accessibility. If this thing were in Orlando...WOW. You know I would be there. Wearing a D64 shirt and sitting with Servo.:lookaroun
Huh? Can't understand your grammar-less post...No DL, HKDL or DLP folks are speaking either I don't think. This is seeming like spin.
I was not asking your opinion of what you think they should do. I was asking your opinion of why you think WDW will be left out in the cold as it pertains to new announcements.
I wasn't implying that Aladdin would physically become one of the new Dumbos. I was referring to the hope that they wouldn't be stupid enough to have FOUR spinners in one park.
That's really what we're looking at in this plan. You're not losing a ride, you're getting 2-for-1. Probably won't affect park capacity one bit, and certainly wouldn't be less than when they installed Aladdin in the first place.

Ahhh...
Well, still.
And besides, Skyway was for SM...Is that being addressed at D23 at all?
I'm thinking there will be one queue for both. You don't get a choice in which one you go to, but it still doubles capacity. While the decrease in overall park capacity will be small by the removal of Alladin and the addition of a second spinner at Dumbo, it's still a loss of a ride in the guests mind.
I doubt people will go on Dumbo North Spinner, and then later in the day go back to try out Dumbo South Spinner. (Okay, there's plenty of us here that will do that, but I'm talking about Mr. and Mrs. Tourist here. )
Yet something tells me when Double Dumbo arrives, Alladin's carpets will still be there spinning in Adventureland for years to come.
As for that NextGen queue, I'm thinking it's a version of Turtle Talk with the guests cycling through the circus tents getting the backstory on Dumbo and interacting with the digital characters before being assigned a slot in either the north or south spinner staging area. Any other ideas on what the interactive Dumbo queue might be?
I don't think WDW will be entirely ignored either. But you never know, with the lack of good WDW insiders spilling the beans, there could be some legit WDW surprises during Jay's speech on the 12th that trump Star Tours 2.0 and Captain EO coming to Disneyland.
There might not be the lush and lavish models, artwork and exhibits laid out next week for WDW in '09 like there will be for the projects coming to Anaheim and Hong Kong, but some kernels of future plans may be discussed verbally by Rasulo and/or shown in some conceptual sketches for WDW property.
And remember, this is only the first year of D23 Expo. There will be another one in 2010, and 2011, and 2012. They've got the entire Anaheim Convention Center booked in early September for the next four years. It's entirely possible that 2010 or 2011 could be the big "WDW Excitement!" years with big models and displays all about stuff coming soon to Epcot or Magic Kingdom or DHS.
I have updated this. I am not sure if the Pooh area is being downsized. Can someone tell me?
THanks!:wave:It appears, if the blueprints are indeed official, that the area now occupied by Pooh's playground will be part of the Cinderella area. Pooh's playground would be moved about 50 yards to the east and would be about the same size.
I came up with this my overlaying the blueprint with an aerial view.
