If even one in every thousand people was interested in renting out Mickey’s house, they’d be constantly turning people away and leaving money on the table. The price is on point for the small niche it’s aimed for.
And from a glance on Reddit and Facebook, it's definitely hit the sweet spot in bookings for sure. For the folks that are hosting birthday parties at Disneyland, what's another $350 more for a built-in 90 minute break from the heat with a guaranteed Mickey meet and greet plus snacks and kids activities? Beats leaving the house dormant while meet and greets are outdoors and distanced.

Our male waiter at Carthay on our trip this past weekend had dark purple (?) nails. I believe dark purple is the Go-To starter color/ gateway drug for men who decide to paint their nails. At first it was a little weird but he was also the second most pleasant CM we engaged with over our 2.5 day trip so 🤷🏻‍♂️. By weird I mean weird to see at Disneyland. I live in LA so it’s not the first time I’ve seen a dude with painted nails.

Where is the top picture of the pigs from?
A Walter Lantz Knothead and Splinter cartoon called Red Riding Hoodlum. Very obvious the designs were "inspired" by the Disney version, though I thought it was interesting how the proportions are closer to the Disney Parks version of the pigs than Disney's original Silly Symphony version.

This is actually the case. There are plenty of actual films in existence with gay characters who are major parts of the actual plot or are protagonists of films. There have been strong gay films for decades. The 1990s had quite a few of of these.

Disney 30 years later including a man holding a man's hand for half a second in the live action Beauty and the Beast or two girls kissing in Star Wars, doesn't do anything to advance the cause. It's like boasting about doing the bare minimum to pretend you care.

There's nothing ground breaking or even committed about these "moments" that are quickly inserted into a shot for the twitter reaction.

Both these scenes are not in most international releases of these films by the way.

In 1997 Disney had a major star of their sitcom come out as gay on air. That's some actual commitment. What they do now is throwing some scraps to the LGBTQ folks.

I think part of the problem is there’s really very little going on, at least that’s not currently announced and/or under construction.
I wanna know what theyre thinking about doing haha I guess I’m just nosey. I think the last thing they kinda teased was Hollywoodland so I'm curious as to what theyre thinking about putting there
