Take this with a grain of salt (although some of the sources are decent). Sounds like the Matterhorn has been closed for so long because they have been working on a Frozen overlay inside. One more offering to get people out of Star Wars Land since Marvel Land won’t open in time. The abonimable snowman has apparently been replaced with Hans. Something to do with merch sales. Hans is a huge seller in Finland.

I for one will not jump to conclusions. It sounds like it could be good.

To build off this, Jim Hill had hinted that the side of the Matterhorn facing Small World would receive Elsa's castle, and the motorboat cruise area would be converted to Arandelle.

The internal overlay for the Matterhorn is just phase one of the Frozen overhaul of Fantasyland.

Personally, I'm excited to see a tired, old attraction like the Matterhorn get revitalized with a relevant and timeless IP. Seems like the Imagineers really know how to make Disneyland relevant to 21 century audiences.

I couldn’t agree more. And if anyone misses Harold that much they can always go see the REAL Harold at The Collectors Fortress at DCA.

Oh and let’s not forget the fact that they re going to slow the bobsleds down by 70% so we can appreciate the show scenes and Hans figures (rumored to be the same folks who manufactured the beloved Jack Jacks on sticks). Meaning no more broken backs on the “Matterhorn.” Grandparents can ride with their grandkids again which is how Walt and Eisner intended it.

the main street christmas loop is pretty much the equivalent of that one carpenters christmas album you've had for 30 years yet still play every year without fail
I recieved my Carpenters Christmas album from Darth Vader during a Christmas cub scout pack meeting at Charlie Chapman studios. How random is that?

Hey when you're sitting on top of the world, it just works.....

I know that Justin Scarred might not be everyone's cup of tea or shot of whiskey (or what have you, no judging). But one of his recent videos shows a mini Disneyland in a backyard with working railroad and other attractions, its amazing.

Check it out:

Knott’s Berry Farm has begun dropping online hints about a 2019 attraction planned for the Ghost Town area of the theme park.

The simple tweet promised “a great discovery awaits in 2019” with a Wild West-style poster promoting “a rare chance for speculation” in the Calico River Territory. Online “speculation” immediately turned to the possibility of an extensive renovation of the Bigfoot Rapids water ride in the Ghost Town section of the Buena Park theme park.

“Could Bigfoot Rapids be going under the knife to be transformed into something new for 2019?” wrote Lance Hart on Screamscape, a theme park industry news website. The poster issues a “call to adventurers” to explore the unspoiled wilderness and bountiful wonders of the Calico River Territory filled with mining and timber opportunities. “Excursions encouraged,” the poster proclaims.

The Ghost Town area of Knott’s dates back to the 1940s, taking its Wild West inspiration and the Calico name of many of its attractions from the Calico ghost town in San Bernardino County.<<

Did Garner Holt just get a nice large order for AA's???
I know this old but Big Foot Rapids is not part of Ghost Town. it is on the other side of the park from Ghost Town. It is closer to the former boardwalk area (don't know what they call it now with the new coaster in the area) than it is to Ghost Town.
