I'm going tonight, will have to see if I can remember to pay attention to the faux grass

If you get on Storybook or Casey Jr... get some pictures of the Patchwork Quilt. They replaced that too and it seemingly has gone completely unnoticed since.... even by the super fans.

Wow. The question is after we know can we unsee it? Now we’re looking for it.

More sustainable Ziploc bag options haven’t become as mainstream as paper straws/stainless steel/silicone straws. I think to suggest that if someone is not 100% eco-friendly that they’re therefore hypocrites is silly. Eco-friendliness takes time.

I’m not saying that Disney necessarily cares about the environment, but I wouldn’t say they’re necessarily hypocrites for providing Ziploc bags.
I'd totally say in this case they are hypocrites for handing out plastic to every person riding Splash Mountain at the same time they did away with straws and lids. This was to advertise for a plastic wares company.

I agree though it's not the case that you have to be 100% in to not be a hypocrite, but to me this was pretty blatant hypocrisy.

Either way the straws and lids are back (but on request only).

I've watched all three episodes of She-Hulk so far and I've got to say, it is just not for me. It's painfully unfunny, none of the characters are particularly likable, and it seems to be going nowhere in the larger MCU. I think it was written for lonely millennial women, of which I am not.

Yeah this is hypocrisy at its highest form. They had no problem doing away with straws and lids because it saves them money. Yet they handed everyone a plastic bag because they were being paid to do so by the plastic bag company. This would’ve been fine if they were honest about it, but they leaned into the conservation angle.

Everyone should have to bring their own bag or be charged for the bag.

I'm amazed I missed this a month ago:

Yuck…fake grass is terrible. Does nothing to help the environment. Disney is terrible at researching and combating environmental issues of climate change. Should have combat with native flora. Instead of fake grass and high maintenance lawn…should use native grass. :banghead:

The planter in front of Tomorrowland…might as well plant a Canary Island Dragon Tree (Dracaena draco).
