I often enjoy watching videos of Disneyland attractions that are no longer with us- to learn more things about park history and to scratch that itch.

I had a playlist with a number of videos of Fantasmic!- the original pre bastardized version. And it looks like all those videos were removed from Youtube. A quick search didn't yield any HD results of the original Fantasmic!.

But here's the rub: the 2017 show, as well as the WDW version, still have a number of recordings available.

What a tragedy, and I might start downloading and backing up old ride and show videos, just in case.
Disney has been experiencing some music-blocking lately; I wouldn't be surprised if this was related to that. They might come back in the future, might not, depends on the content policies that UMG sets.

This is Disney-related only in the most obscure way imaginable, but it dawned on me that today's kids have no idea who Eddie Haskell is or why the line, "That's a lovely dress you're wearing, Mrs. Cleaver" is so classic.

And it made me sad.

EDIT: And now I remember Universal did a terrible movie version of Leave it to Beaver in the 90's, but... Has anyone ever actually seen it? :D

Yep I saw it, and I saw the revival show that ran from 83 - 89, The New Leave it to Beaver.

Just downloaded Cuphead for the XBox One. This game looks like the old Max Fleischer or Silly Symphony cartoons. It's like 30's Toon Town gone crazy. The game is crazy hard but lots of fun.

Love the look and sound of Cuphead! If it ever comes to Nintendo Switch, it'll be an instant purchase for me!

Cuphead for Smash! :D

So, Nabisco announced a new redesign of the "Barnum's Animal Crackers" box, which portrays the animals free of cages and roaming in a natural environment:

Of course, in real life the zebra and giraffe would be promptly eaten, but oh well...

Actually, I really like the new design, and not for the reason PETA likes it. I love circus history, I love circuses in general, but times change and circuses have always adapted to the times. What I love about this new design, is... It's genuinely good-looking AND keeps the classic circus theme subtly intact, as this looks very much like an old-time circus poster that Barnum & Baily might have posted in a town ahead of their arrival. Everybody wins.
(EDIT) And lions are a good source of calcium!

You fool. They've escaped. Now they're going to kill us all.

A few weeks ago, after finishing Cheers, I embarked on watching Friends for the first time. I am almost through Season 1, and stand by my long-upheld view that it is primarily a "girls" show.
