Hilarious AI - Siri and Alexa are not as funny as Max Headroom.

Humor is a human trait that is hard to program. Its hard for even some humans, as noted in many posts here....

Hope the new mural is just an advertisement for the latest Disney show or movie. That's what they did to the mural on the WB backlot. Used to be cool and show off all these WB characters like Bugs Bunny, Scooby Doo, Batman, Iron Giant, etc. Then they changed it to mostly just superhoes with a few other characters but it wasn't as good. Now it's just an ad.

Speaking of reddit, though, I now moderate r/disneylandcirclejerk since the guy who made it wasn't doing anything with it. Going to try to spruce it up and get it active.

Are you being sarcastic about promoting movies up there?

I’ve never heard of r/disneylandcirclejerk. I’ll keep an eye out for it now.

Meant hope it isn't*. Not that I expect it to be, just that I wouldn't necessarily put it past them. If they're willing to stick Planes ads in Grizzly Peak, why not Wreck It Ralph 2 ads in Tomorrowland?

Haha those 2 letters completely changed the meaning of that post. Yeah I also hope it isn’t a glorified billboard.

I’ve completely changed my mind about Peter Pan’s Flight now having rode it more than the usual once per year as I’m spending more time in FL these days with my young son. Before I would have said it’s right behind Alice in Wonderland for best FL dark ride at DL. Now I don’t think it’s even in the top 3-4 FL style dark rides at DL. It’s too short. Too long of a wait for what you get. The whole ride is really the London and Neverland scenes and they ruined the London scene when they upgraded it for the 60th. The star on the obvious projection screen in the Neverland room is pretty cheesy too. I’d put Alice, Roger Roger Rabbit and Mr. Toad way ahead of it. If you consider the wait time to the experience received, it might be my least favorite dark ride in the park even after Pooh, Pinocchio and Snow White.

Of course the ride system/ “flying” is cool and I have a lot of nostalgia for the IP but I wouldn’t mind it going to yesterland if they built a bigger and better version somewhere else in the park. The ride could be much more. There obviously is a huge demand for this type of ride system/ concept. I’d be ok with them building an E or D ticket version where the FL Theatre is. Another bonus would be clearing out some of the congestion near the FL entrance. The question is what would replace Pan it’s current location? It could easily be some London themed eatery without having to change the facade.

I find it interesting how synonymous “Yo Ho” is with Pirates of the Caribbean even though it’s only part of one show scene. Aside from the bit after the first drop and melodically a part of the overture.

In other words, it doesn’t play over and over and over again like It’s a Small World... thankfully.

It's all throughout the ride. In the overture, after the first drop, the caverns after the second drop, the harpsichord version, the "Scare Me Music" version... It's woven throughout the attraction pretty well.

The Oasis...only in a form that doesn't have people addicted 24/7. The holodeck would be even better, but that would probably be available only for the very rich and the crews of fancy schmancy starships.

Figured you'd bring up the Oasis....

People are addicted to their phones 24/7 why would you think there would be a version of the Oasis that wasn't addictive 24/7. ;):p:cool:
