It’s a fantastic show imo. Dumb but fantastic.

I know, I watched it for a second time tonight, first solo, tonight with my Wife and 88 Year Old mother, and they both enjoyed it.

Some good improvements, except for Stephen Curry being lazy, and basically "Calling" it in this year, or should I say Sound Studio.....

But the opening was so classic, a true ripoff of "Disneyland 1954/1955" on ABC :)

I really enjoy the show too. Very funny.

Regarding Steph, I'm not sure when they film the episodes, though I'd guess it's in the late winter since you can see people's breath due to it being cold, but he broke his hand in late 2019 and had to have surgery on it. My guess is that is why he will not be appearing much (if at all) this season.

Europa Park has released their reopening safety procedures video: Reservations, virtual queues, masks required on attractions and inside shops and restaurants, empty rows between riders. Guests are asked to bring several masks per person due to the intensity and soak-factor of some of their rides. Please only touch merch you’re gonna buy... And if you have to sneeze, do it safely and not like an idiot! :D

As with Efteling, another very charming, well-produced video that gets the message across in as upbeat a manner as could be hoped for.

I shook two of my neighbors hands yesterday and it felt good. A very nice older couple I had never met a few blocks over when I was walking my dog. The husband even put his hand over our handshake to create a hand sandwich. Me and the lady at a certain point in the conversation kind of just put our hands out there and I said “are we shaking hands now? Yes, I’m over it.”

I washed my hands when I got home though.

I just saw a tweet by a Phineas and Ferb fan making a comment backed up by one of the show’s creators re: the fact that Disney+ has totally screwed up the order of the P&F episodes.

I’m a fan, so I checked it out and... What the hell, Disney+?!?!?!?

1) How does this happen?
2) Why does this happen?
3) Even the most casual fan knows the roller coaster episode starts the series: That fact becomes a plot point later on in at least two other episodes. Summer doesn’t start 8 episodes in!

Even though P&F is a screwball comedy fantasy, it is a show where events are remembered by the characters, creating a cohesive little world with its own rules over the course of the series.

In the grand scheme of things, it’s a tiny matter.
It’s just so annoying!!!! :D

>>The National Amusement Park Historical Association notes that "pleasure gardens" — places devoted to outdoor entertainment — have been offering thrills to summertime visitors since way back in the 1550s. While rides back then were more primitive, attractions that we'd know and recognize today, like carousels and roller coasters, started popping up by the early 1800s. And even starting way back then, the race was on, with amusement parks competing for faster, higher, and more pulse-pounding attractions. Some of these led to rides that are still around today, in some form or another, like looping coasters or extra-tall Ferris wheels. Others provided heart-racing experiences during the mid-century heyday of local funfairs, but were lost when smaller, local parks gave way to modern development in the '60s and '70s. And still others, well, they were a bad idea to begin with, and are probably best left to the annals of history. We took a look back at amusement parks through the years, and couldn't believe these rides were ever built, either because they're too pulse-pounding — like today's highest, fastest, and steepest roller coasters — or because they seem like they'd be too stomach-churning to ever ride, even for a wild summer break with friends.<<

Let's talk music because I have to pump some country artists. I'm not talking the trash they plug in from Nashville and play on 105.1 Go Country, I'm talking genuine, good, Texas country music. Look up Jon Wolfe ("That Girl in Texas" is great), Jarrod Morris (He only has one album and all his songs are fantastic. Personally I love "Coyote," "Jezebel Queen," and "Red Bandana), and Turnpike Troubadours (My all time favorite band. I love "The Mercury" and their cover of "Long Hot Summer Day" is my favorite song ever). Anyway, I don't know if anybody here likes country music, but even if you don't I would recommend these artists to anybody, especially Jarrod Morris. Guy's young, talented, and deserves recognition.

Watched Gus last night. It is about the field goal kicking mule. Not a bad movie however the supermarket sequence was a little long. Interesting pairing Tim Conway with Tom Bosley to make a Laurel and Hardy type team. Don Knotts was on the sidelines with not much to do. Cool to see all the 70's football players of my childhood.

Well they have moved on from bras but now I'm getting ads for canned sardines. I've never eaten a sardine in my life. Who is this wild and interesting man on these boards who frequents gay cruises in a bra but would rather eat canned sardines in their room than play out on the lido deck? They re onto you.
