I don't know about you all but i'm just exhausted & sick of seeing Paper Towels, cleaning products, TP, the Nintendo Switch, and now possibly meat, out of stock, and being yelled at to stay "6 feet awayyyyy" at all times everywhere.

I fear other people and their behavior way more than I fear COVID-19.

Oh and 5 weeks into UI, still no UI pay.
Hey the Nintendo Switch is an exception and for good reason. ;)

I actually reallyyyy lucked out and found 2 at a local target the other day, so I bought one for my lady before it sold out. But after watching her play Animal Crossing now I regret not buying the other for myself! LOL

Thought I'd be okay just playing world of warships on my One X, but here we are.

5 weeks as In you certified weeks 5 weeks ago? I haven’t got a penny either but I Only certified my first two weeks about 10 days ago.

Yessir! I was let go near the end of March and immediately applied for benefits. I sent them what they wanted but it's all still pending due to "active issues", which is just a terrible excuse because I filled in everything truthfully, and there is nothing that disqualifies me for benefits. I do my part every week, but I've heard nothing more from them.

I can't even get into contact with the DES. The phone call went something like this "to speak to someone, press 1 *pushes 1* Due to high demand, we aren't taking calls, please press 1 to leave a message *pushes 1* The message box is full, please go online and leave us alone. Goodbye".

Sorry to hear that man! Have you tried that new phone number where they have people in the Call center from 8am -8pm 7 days a week?

I tried a couple of them, it ultimately led to the same outcome - a hangup. Getting my federal check wasn't even this hard, and that too was delayed. I'll just pray that you, me, and the other hundreds of thousands of unemployed get their money!!

Flawed, but better than the others mentioned.

Probably true, I just don't care for the seventh season much at all. The first not utilized well, the poorly developed and one dimensional potentials, Kennedy, multiple major characters sidelined for big chunks of the season, and so on. Such a lackluster ending for such a great show.

Although at least Buffy didn't do anything as egregiously terrible as what Angel did to Cordelia in Season 4 of that show. Otherwise Angel and Buffy would probably be about equal in my eyes.

Target is so empty during this pandemic. It reminds me of that Jennifer Connelly film Career Opportunities.

Amazing how Target still looks the same.

It's a mixed bag like all post-season 3, but it does have Giles, Spike, Faith and an entertaining minor role by Nathan Fillion. Plus, it's still Buffy and flawed Buffy is better than no Buffy.

A couple of years ago, my wife was riding Twisted Timbers at Kings Dominion. She was stupid and left her cell phone in her pocket. And yes, the first drop decided to remove the phone from her pocket. We filed a lost and found report, took an unexpected trip to a nearby T-Mobile for a replacement.

A month later, we get a phone call saying they found the phone, and it was in good shape. Would we like to pick it up, or have it shipped at your expene.

We said we will pay for shipping. When it arrived, the Tempered Glass protection shield clearly worked. Once we removed it, the phone was in perfect working condition. (And it was pouring rain some of the day it happened.

She sold it to a friend, and is still in use.
