I'm gonna get to that one today. Being a huge Honey I Shrunk the Kids fan as a kid, that's been my favorite so far. Love seeing Rick Moranis again.

I loved that movie as a kid. I also had one of those large plastic McDonalds cups from the movie that like my go-to memory when I think of those cups. Remember when they used to release like 4 collectible plastic cups with certain kids movies or blockbusters?

Totally. The promotions of movies in the 90's was wild. I used to have a collection of Disney Happy Meal toys. It's... somewhere...

Jurassic Park and the Flinstones seem to stand out for me too. As far as toys, the Animaniacs cars seem to stand out the most. And to go a little further back, the cartoon chicken nuggets with all different hats.

I have one of those nuggets, minus any sort of costume. I was always partial to the transforming ones. Like, the box of french fries that transform into a dinosaur. I've been tempted to rebuy the whole collection recently.

No. I want to go there someday. That place is actually a few miles away from my sister's house. I only display a little bit of it. The rest in the attic with my wife's Christmas collection of eighteen trees and decorations. Us obsessive? Nay.

Sounds familiar. Here are my Disney Parks POPs just sitting in our old school Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe Wardrobe. All of my other Disney parks stuff is in the closet too. The only stuff I have displayed are my Disney parks books, my DLRR train station Olszewski light box, and a few Jim Shore and WDCC collection pieces. I’d like some more vintage Disneyland stuff but Disney collectors are many and have deep pockets. I only have some of those older ceramic plates and a candy dish from the 60s/70s that aren’t that rare or expensive.

That's the problem with collecting. If you can't display it, why have it?

Madballs were great. They remind of my old Garbage Pail Kids and trash cans of Slime. Gross stuff was popular in the 80s.

Those were the days. I was born in 82 but I have very fond memories of the 80s. Were people happier or was I just a kid that had no stress?

I still own two McDonald glassess both related to Walt Disney World.

The first was for the Millennium Celebration 1999/2000 featuring Sorcerer Mickey. I swear we used to own the third Mickey Glass in his trademark shoes and red pants (unless we somehow lost it).

The second was for the "100 Years Of Magic" celebration in 2001.

After all these years, both glasses are still in good shape, I still use them for lunch and dinner.

I miss when Disney used to put much more effort with their anniversaries, celebrations, and milestones compared to now. Even commercials and ad campaigns were more genuine and charming.

I believe the last time Disney went to this degree was Disneyland's 50th Anniversary in 2005 (I still remember the tagline "The Happiest Homecoming on Earth") which was celebrated at all Disney Parks, and McDonalds sold 50th Anniversary Toys (I still own the Mickey Mouse figure) and Weebles of Disney Characters (I own the Bambi Weeble).
