I turned off my ad blocker just to see what ads I would see.

All I see is an ad for Audible (I don't listen to books), an ad for a new housing complex in my local area (I'm not buying a house), and an Ad for business email marketing (which I don't need).

So I don't get any interesting ones like you guys. Guess that means I'm boring.....

Probably the clearest and closest flyover Disneyland I’ve ever seen. Look how colorless GE looks compared to the rest of the park. Fast forward to about 8:40

Super cool! Thanks for putting that up. I saw a golf cart moving back stage, but that was the only sign of life I could see. No ducks or cats moving. Lots of cars and trucks behind Space Mountain and various backstage areas. They might just always be parked there. I noticed the fans on the A/C units were running. The water in the Nemo lagoon looked scummy.

I get lingerie ads on the computer I use at work, but my home computer just gets vacation ads for various resorts. Weird.

At work I either get ads for those Disney trip planning services or those weird "TRUMP ROLLED BACK THIS OBAMA ERA REGULATION, CALCULATE YOUR SAVINGS" and then a list with options from like $1k to $100k and all that text is in front of a stock photo of a rolled up piece of paper / scroll as if it's like the Declaration of Independence.

I noticed that too. I don't understand why they went with such a muted color palette for the DLR GE. The WDW palette has much more contrast and is more visually appealing to look at, at least compared to the DLR version where everything is the same sandy grey color. It truly does look so out of place in this footage compared to all the beautiful colors around the rest of the park coming from the different buildings, mountains, foliage, bodies of water, etc.

A neat site about Disneyland plants.
Thank you for sharing this. What a fantastic resource. Some people like the parks for the rides, food, characters; others love the landscaping. WDW excels in the horticulture dept. All the SeaWorld's do too. Knott's has gotten better in recent years. Knott's has some great old cacti that I like to believe we're planted in the 40s/50s.

Galaxy's Edge should've been used to expand Frontierland.

Imagine a really cool BBQ restaurant in a ranch setting and low key petting zoo. Haha

No but really a larger Frontierland wouldn’t be my first choice but I wouldn’t be opposed to it. What attractions would you put there?

Looking just at abandoned Frontierland concepts, Western River Expedition is the obvious choice, but there's also Geyser Mountain, the "reel ride" (guests would have been placed on mechanical horses in front of a film to put them in a horse chase), a revival of a mine train attraction and stagecoaches. Just other possible ideas that aren't necessarily Frontierland, but a colonial America land or a Wizard of Oz land based on the books would fit well back there.

Would all be better than GE. I guess my only concern would be if current WDI/ Disney could do a good job matching the aesthetic and feel of Frontierland proper or would it feel like some slick, modern, soulless extension of the land and not like the same land at all.

My vote would go to Mine Train thru Nature’s Wonderland/ Rainbow Caverns revival and then Geyser Mountain. I don’t screens in Frontierland so the “reel” ride is out
