This is kind of amazing.
Meh. I hate when they try to make stuff like this look retro. Make a contemporary book or piece of art. Reeks of pretentiousnessThis is kind of amazing.
Well..he is a sorcerer.Mickey also magically switches seats between the initial shot and the splashdown shot.
Lol. Please name one single thing about this that falls under the category of “pretentious”.Meh. I hate when they try to make stuff like this look retro. Make a contemporary book or piece of art. Reeks of pretentiousness
The fact it is drawn as if it was made in the 1970's like the original Star Wars comics were instead of being drawn in the style of modern day 2019. Pretentious as F@@k!Lol. Please name one single thing about this that falls under the category of “pretentious”.

If copying past styles makes you “pretentious”, then Disneyland is the most pretentious place of them all! If you hate “pretentiousness” of having a style rooted in the past, I don’t know how you can survive the HM with it’s “abandoned Antebellum exterior with a Victorian interior” mansion aesthetic, the ghosts wearing 19th century garb or the paintings none of which could be described as being “modern or contemporary” even in ‘69,Meh. The problem is that it mimics something of old that is implied to be superior but in fact is equally as inferior as its modern day counterpart. Furthermore it’s not an original concept paying homage to a time gone by, but taking someone else’s ideas and placing another person’s ideas into them to create nothing special.
Take a sneak peek at the themed lands in UK's new £3.5billion 'Disneyland'

This solidified that buying Fox was a mistake. This is clearly, in no way a Disney movie yet the opening of the trailer declares itself the studio that brought Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, and The Lion King (twice). Iger is clueless on how to maintain brand integrity.

I'm aware of what it is, I'm saying it's bad for Disney to label its brand in that way.I Think you are misreading that opening a bit. That was clearly a Ryan Reynolds decision to have it have the classic Disney names before the trailer then when the trailer starts its this action packed movie. its done on purpose as a tongue in cheek, 4th wall break type of joke that Reynolds does with deadpool. it was done sarcasitcally not in a serious way.
oh ok. now I get your point of view. At first I thought you missed the joke , but you are saying , why even do the joke in the first place? Gotcha. You feel it is beneath them, yes?I'm aware of what it is, I'm saying it's bad for Disney to label its brand in that way.
