Was talking to both Disneyland Ambassador s this afternoon during the pre-parade events.....

I ended up watching the Anaheim parade ... What a delightfully charming piece of old timey America.

Way more charming then any of Disney's parades. Lots of local schools, and various pop culture stuff like Ghostbusters and Star Wars.

Honestly, Disney should host the parade at the resort one of these years as a 'thank you' to Anaheim.... And give the performers free admission for the day, with free/discounted admission to Anaheim residents so they can attend.

99 units were in the parade, and lasted about 2 hours.

I felt for one of the Zoot Suits Cars that had mechanical issues... They were pushing it down Center Street....

So The DLR brought Mickey Mouse and one of their Horse Drawn Carriages.

But why does it take 3 CM's to be the Pooper Scooper rear patrol?

2 hours? I take that back. I saw like 10% of the parade.

And at risk of sounding a tad creepy, I'm also fairly sure I walked past Darkbeer.

Now at Disneyland about to go for the scoreboard on Buzz.

Well, I was at the corner of Center Street and Anaheim in blue AnaheI'M First Polo Shirt during the parade. The Parade left from Broadway at the I-5 at 6 PM, and ended right around 8 PM at Broadway and Anaheim.

Disney Legend Tony Baxter often appears in the Anaheim Halloween Parade .....
True story!

One year he dressed as Indiana Jones.

Bob Gurr has also appeared in it a time or two....
