IMO if you have been to the International parks, NOS has been topped. Multiple times.

NoS also isn't what it used to be. Besides changes to the two main E-tickets the land has lost a lot of its atmosphere and unique shopping and the Club 33 renovation/expansion was anything but a plus for the average guest who liked sitting in the Court of Angles.

It's still a nice place to be, and the best of Disneyland's lands, but it's not longer the best thing in theme design.

(this is also true of WDW's Liberty Square, which IMO, was on par with NoS at one point)

Who the heck cares about themed design anyway? Can we really appreciate it when we’re packed in the park like sardines? Serious question.

It's really amazing how far Disneyland's merchandise has regressed. I find it a bit amusing when we see Imagineering advertising themed merchandise that's accurate to the land in Galaxy's Edge. It's as if they've forgotten that's how it used to be- with New Orleans Square and Main Street being the best two examples.

When I judge NOS creatively, I look at what it was at it's peak- before the Pirates changes, before all the shop changes. Before Jack Skellington trespassed in the Mansion for 4 months a year.

Before the dark times. Before the Empire.

Apparently there’s going to be a Beauty and the Beast Bar at WDW inside the Grand Floridian.

I see that Disney is trying to appeal to nostalgic millennials again who think Beauty and the Beast is the best film ever made.
