Are you saying the ride will be open by those dates? ;)

Can't guarantee it, but that is a goal. Knott's did find some raft issues when they shut down the ride, and got Intermin involved in fixing them, and that has added a new dimension. Plus the wet weather has caused some delays. But yes, Knott's wants it open by then.

That's awesome! Thanks for the update.

Just left Knott's. A major Cheer/Dance event was using both the Charles Schultz Theater and the Boardwalk Ballroom. And a few rides were not working 100%, which didn't help. Only Ghost rider was a scheduled closure.

Still had a good time.

Does Knotts want a dark ride or have one planned. I think they need one desperately! It could be themed to Bears Tales or the Peanuts.
If you call Toy Story Mania a dark ride, Knott's has Voyage of the Iron Reef above the Arcade. It was originally home to Knott's Beary Tales. I loved KBT.....

And some would call the Calico Mine Train a dark ride. Some also will claim it is a Roller Coaster due to the Lift Hill and track....

I’ve heard recently from relatives that the burger patties at Knott’s have become much thinner, than they used to be just a few months ago. Any truth to that?

I typically don't get a burger at Knotts because I'm gluten free and the gluten free buns aren't great. There are better options like the ribs or pulled pork or half chicken. The kids get the burgers and they look identical to DL. I'm waiting for Krazy Kurt to start.

Just like @Phrubruh, I don't get their burgers. Their chicken is so much better than what they usally have. Plus, the Boysenberry Festival starts in a few weeks and everything is usually better than what they serve at the restaurants.

Is the fried chicken still good? You guys are making me want to go to Knotts. I think I’ll go when the Boysenberry festival starts.

It is not as great as it used to be, but it is still decent. I have found a better chicken restaurant in Long Beach that I would rather go to.

You should go! I love the Boysenberry Festival. I am so excited for it to start.

The chicken is still good and definitely beats Disneyland's.

Another thing that is great about Knotts is the live music. Disneyland seems to be doing less and less of it while Knotts is doing more. The performers seem extremely happy with their Knotts gegs.
That is why I love Knotts. Knotts does small things but earns great things out of it. Would it be wrong to start a Knotts thread in DLR section?
