You know I was thinking about the phineas and ferb topiaries coming to Epcot and I thought wouldn’t it be nice if they used more Disney Channel stuff in the parks a ducktales ride seems like a shoe in for toontown at Disneyland and Hollywood Studios (yes I know one was going to replace Roger rabbit at one point but I was more along the lines of a duckberg themed expansion)

Toon Town should have been Duckberg with a Duck Tales ride. Everyone from 18-55 would go crazy over it.
It's the logical thing to get rid of Roger. Just retheme entrance to Scrooge's money bin.

Adding to this what are some other Disney channel tie ins for the parks and cruise lines you would like to see? I did see park lores latest build out had a gravity falls land in animal kingdom

Of course Gravity Falls, but I'm wondering since the Ducktales reboot included other Disney Channel classics. If they were to build a Ducktales land, I wouldn't mind seeing a Darkwing Duck ride along with maybe a Tale Spin Simulator attraction.

Okay I have multiple ideal versions of the parks I’ve designed from different points in history ( at this juncture now that monsters is sadly replacing muppets I think the best use of animation courtyard is to wait in case it’s true that universal might give up the marvel rights relatively soon) but one idea I had for if runaway railway had gone to animation courtyard was to retheme the area to various Disney tv shows the Walt Disney presents and mermaid theatre would become a ducktales ride you would keep the Disney junior theater rock and roller coaster would be rethemed to powerline mean while on the other side of the park the Indiana Jones show would become Kim possible themed my precious star tours would be rethemed to phineas and ferb the backlot express would become slushy dog the frozen show would be replaced by a STVOE show meet and greets would be found at various locations throughout the park and I know this one doesn’t really keep all the ips together but the sunset showcase could have a phineas and ferb musical revue to focus more on phineas and ferbs side of the show since the simulator would focus more on agent p and the O.W.A.C.A only thing this really leaves out is gravity falls which probably needs its needs its own themed land ( not that phineas and ferb or the Disney afternoon shows couldn’t get one too I realize this is far from the ideal concept for these shows maybe I’ll post something in the armchair imagineer section sometime) sorry for the wall of text

But we’d get Ducktales 2.0 and it would be new Disney/ new imagineers building it? I’m good. This post reminds me I need to go ride RRCS and wait standby so I don’t miss the best part of the attraction. It’s been a couple years since I’ve been in it and at least 5 since I’ve walked through the standby queue.

I’ve never seen it. I don’t like the animation style though and I’m guessing the voice actors are probably inferior and/or sound different from the original?
Oh sure they should different but I like it that way it gives Huey dewy and Louie more individuality Donald sounds like he always does and David tenant does a great mister mcduck

It'd different for sure but it grew on me by about the 4th episode. Quickly settled in once I got used to the voices. The animation is typical of today but it works. I'd give it a shot if you have the time. Great stories definitely focused more on humor.

I’m going to put it on for my son and watch an episode with him one of these days. It appears that he has a new taste in movies / tv shows. He’s 9 now and instead of watching Disney or Pixar movies he marathoning shows like Phineas n Ferb, Cricket Greens and Gravity Falls. He’s hit his “Saturday Morning” cartoon / Disney Afternoon era. Ducktales might be right up his alley.

What does he think of phineas and ferb?

This is the newest one he’s on. He seems to really enjoy it. I’ve never seen it. He saw Dr. Doofen whatever his name is on another show on Disney + and liked that character so much that he asked me what show he’s from. I had to look it up. Same thing happened with Bill Cypher. He saw him on another show and asked where he was from.

My 18 year old is still in that phase.
