She was trying to get Spielberg's attention...and she did! ;)
The Willie Scott character was based on female leads in 40s adventure movies. You get the same behavior from Sharon Stone in King Solomon's Mines.

Sure, until your social credit score drops because you compared to Xi Jinping to Winnie the Pooh. Disney's pandering to China is so pathetic.

This is too funny not to share here. For posting this, I would probably be arrested in China. That tells you all you need to know about how things are there. I'll visit Shanghai and Hong Kong after democracy wins in China.

I was leaning toward purchasing Magic Keys if/when they go on sale in early 2024 but I’m not sure it’s worth it with HM and the ride formerly known as Splash Mountain going down for the majority of the year. This might be a So Cal 3 day ticket year. Granted, having 1.5 beautiful/ fun parks at your disposal would still be a nice perk but something doesn’t sit well about having the West side of DL dead and behind construction walls. Not to mention the effect it will have on the rides that are open. Also I feel like I should see if they did Splash any justice before I hand them over a few thousand dollars.
We have all the giftcards ready and were waiting for Magic Keys to get Believe Keys. We went once last week on a day ticket and decided for next year to do the So Cal Ticket instead.

We had an amazing time but realized we don't have the stamina we used to before the pandemic. Going a few times a year is the right number for us.

We don't care about Halloween time anyways just Christmas so it will work out well for us. It's like a miniature Magic Key without the level of commitment needed to get your money's worth. For us it makes a lot more sense.

That makes sense. Same here, couldn’t care less about Halloween time. For us with the kids it’s a nice option to have to break up the weekends one to times a month but it comes with a cost and not everyday is a walk in the park. Pun not intended. Sometimes it takes 1 hour 45 minutes to get there in traffic. I do have to say I’m well out of the withdrawal phase. I think we all are. The kids now ask to go Chuck E Cheese or the playground instead of Disneyland. Although my daughter still asks once in a while. Of course now that they don’t sell them year round I’d also have to survive the temptation of snagging a Key while they re on sale for 24-48 hours or risk waiting 8-12 months.

Congrats on making it out of the withdrawal phase! How does it feel? Traffic can definitely be a killer with the non stop construction on all socal freeways (my guess is to prepare for the Olymics in 3 years)

If I didn't have the day trip, I was about to buy the keys to be honest if they came out, I'm kind of thankful it was not released to be honest. Going to save us a lot of money.

Lol thanks! It’s a good feeling. My wallet is happy. The great part is not waking up on the weekend and feeling like you need to leave the house. Just enjoying the small things and enjoying time at home with the family. It’s how I have been able to do things like Indiana Jones “marathons.”

Three times between January and May on a So Cal ticket should really suffice. Then a bonus Christmas visit is really the icing on top. That’s where the value proposition kind of gets lost though. Because then you’re spending $800 for one day for the entire family and start doing the math on if Keys with year round access made more sense. Christmas is my wife’s favorite time of the year at the park.

Hopefully you and I don’t get sucked back in if/when they sell Keys in January. Lol

Can someone tell me... what is special about the week of April 8th? Why are there no single day tickets available, and does this indicate it will be a busy week?

Looking at the single day ticket calendar to get a sense of how busy it will be, to pick potential dates for a 4 day trip.

Would love to line our trip up with Wondrous Journey's brief stint... is this all Spring Break related still?

I don't normally purchase single day tickets but is this normal that they do not sell tickets for certain days. I noticed December 27 and 28 are Sold Out so it has a slash through it. These days do not. If you buy a multiple day ticket all days are available for reservations. Is Disneyland now not selling single day tickets for certain dates? Or they haven't priced those dates yet until it gets closer?
