The Miscellaneous Thought Thread

Who exactly were writing the MiceAge articles after Al and where did they go? I just noticed they scrubbed MiceAge as one of their feature options.

Honestly my fall off from MiceChat has partially to do with the fall of that feature (however inconsistently in 2015-2017) and the rise of video bloggers that can often more sufficiently catch and document changes versus picture updates. Unless you are taking aerials these days MiceChat probably would have been better served gravitating towards Youtube.

The forum was always useless in my opinion.

I think the weekly picture updates and MicePod (their podcast) has basically replaced the MiceAge reports. Probably because their "reporters" have all gone onto other project or out on their own.

I know tried to do Youtube but it really hasn't taken off, they still update it but its boring content. I really don't think Dusty is all that good on Youtube.

I recently took my first trip to Uni Orlando. ET was the best ride in either park. I’m sad they got rid of it in Hollywood before I ever got to ride it there.

So went to Knott's yesterday after the KABOOM build.

Pancho's Tacos is no more (You can get your Taco fix at the Cantina), and Fiesta Dog has moved in. Pretty good selection of food items, many on the SP meal plan.

Also have noticed a lot of Veggie and Vegan options in the park, some part of the Meal Plan.

Vegan Pizza, Vegan Chicken Strips, Veggie burgers are some of the options. Good to see more options.

I think Lisa and I have had 7 meals so far (a couple was 2 meals in a day, 4 hours apart), and that is about $10 each for the month of our Meal Plan costs.

But Lisa's goals is 16,000 steps per day counted on her Fitbit, so the park is a great option to walk. I am using my UpWalker on some days there too.....

Miscellaneous thoughts: I've given up on DCA having any coherent theme.

So with that out of the way... Can DCA get a properly executed Wakanda and "Mexico" with a Coco and SEA attraction, please?
That was a big load for you to bare. I'm glad your going thru the healing process. Stay strong. It's only a theme park.

DCA does have a theme and should be renamed to reflect it: Disney's #IP Mishmash.
(EDIT) Its motto: "Sorta like a bunch of other parks. *SHRUG.*"

Its funny because you cant even put another theme onto it, not even a studio park. My brain fried trying to think of a new theme without demolishing one of the lands. Especially now with marvel land coming.

I’m all for a Coco attraction as an addition to a plussed Pixar Pier. I haven’t seen Black Panther so I can’t really comment on Wakanda but I’m not into single IP lands. I don’t want to see Disney parks (DLR especially) start becoming Main Street/ BVS with 5 or 6 single IP lands. We just don’t have the room for it and it’s too limiting.

DCA holds a lot of remnants of Disney's America.

How much space is there behind the Incredicoaster? Maybe they can make a Coco Dark Ride back there!!

I’m not sure but that would be nice. I was thinking they could also use the Challege trail space and put an entrance to the showbuilding between Mermaids side Q and whatever store is next to it. Not sure what would have to be rearranged to make that work.

That could work too. I think it is just a random store with Disney Parks merch.

How do you feel about multiple mini-IP lands?
