It looked like plywood cutouts and down a little from that are cutout raccoons.I do wonder what's going on with that figure containing the deer, minecart and Dopey. I'm assuming that can't be anything close to the final figure, looks like styrofoam or something, really what the heck...
Stopping the video frame by frame.GAWDDDDD you guys are like pros here, I barely caught some creatures off to the side on the inside part, but I couldn't even tell who or what they were much less the material they were made from. Now I have to go back and watch it again!
Those are the buckets of 1,000 diamonds. Gotta keep those gems nice and shiny. It looked like some of the smaller animatronics were covered in what looks like black plastic bags. Did anyone else notice that?
They're probably going to highlight the details and the show scenes and boast the "family friendly" aspect more than anything. I'm curious to see how they spin it too, to be honest.
I think that it will come up short of some expectations... The ride seems to be more of a Goofy's Barnstormer type of ride while people thought it would be more of a Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. With that aside, the ride will still be an exciting family ride (NOT thrill ride), but more geared towards families with children. Example: the minimum height requirement is 38" while BTMRR or Space Mountain is 48".
Well we now know that there is no witch before the drop and it's a just a drop. Really worried about this one. Big thunder is a good family ride, this one has me wary. Then again we saw 0 percent of any sort of show scene in the video.
Even looking at the computer imaged ride through, all the AAs appear to be doing is lifting their arms up and down mining for diamonds... I wouldn't call that impressive...Boy...lots of amazing animatronic figures in that clip, huh?
Or...not.
I thought BTM and Space were both 40"?

In WDW, BTM is 40" and Space is 44" (Space is 40" in DL using different ride vehicles). The only 48" rides in the parks IIRC are RNR, Primeval Whirl and Sum of all Thrills.
I'm unaware of any real AAs in the ride.Even looking at the computer imaged ride through, all the AAs appear to be doing is lifting their arms up and down mining for diamonds... I wouldn't call that impressive...
Are there supposed to be AAs in the cottage scene at the end of the ride?
