The Many Adventures of Oswald!-Holidays in the World 2012

Welcome to another @PartOfYourWorld trip report!!!!!! Sorry for the delay in my report, but I wanted to wait until we got our photopass pictures in to begin so HERE WE GOOOOO!

The Cast:
The usual me and my Disney loving mom @LuvsTheMouse! Here is a picture of us from our previous trip in September of 2012:

BUT WAIT!!! There was a new member joining us on this trip….OSWALD THE LUCKY RABBIT!

Oswald was very excited to take his very first trip to Walt Disney World and visit his ol pal Mickey Mouse!!!!!

The When and Where:
Sunday November 25th-Sunday December 2nd at Port Orleans French Quarter Resort

WARNING: This will be a picture infused trip report. I recently acquired a new camera before this trip; a CANON T4i Rebel and took over 1300 pictures so be prepared J

Sunday November 25th: Arrival Day, DTD, and DHS

We were up and at ‘em for a 930ish am flight departing to Endor…oh wait different trip…sunny Orlando, Florida!!!

Oswald was very anxious for his trip to begin!

After what seemed like eternity our safe flight landed in MCO around 1230pm and my what a beautiful sight it was!

Can’t believe we’re here at DME again!

Why hello Disney Cruise Line bus!

Oswald was ready to go!

We’re almost there!!!

We’ve arrived!

We checked in at the desk to find out our room was already ready! SCORE! Plus we magically got upgraded to a Garden View Room in Building 1! (Which was right across the way from where we stayed in February 2012 when we went)

I was so excited to be in Walt Disney World at Christmas time. The decorations in the lobby were beautiful!

We couldn’t wait to get started and we took the boat right over to DTD!

We made it!

Welcome home is right..

Our first stop was…you probably guessed it…the famous Earl of Sandwich!!!

We decided to get one Holiday Sandwich and one BLT and share it! They were both sooooooo yummy. But I think the BLT still won out over the Holiday!

We had a date with the Osborne lights so onward to DHS we went!!!!

We took a bus over to the Swan and walked to the studios. I don’t ever remember seeing the Swan and Dolphin hotels at Christmas, and I was pleasantly surprised at the Swan they had a cute little display!

OH HEY It’s the BOARDWALK! It’s not my dream resort or anything…

Any guesses as to what this is????

I wonder why I’m taking so many pictures of that beautiful spot along the water….

We know we’re going the right way at least!

It’s Christmastime in the Studios!

What NOT to wear???

First stop was at Guest Services to pick up my Tables In Wonderland card!!! So excited to get it! And I took a picture of the tree in there while I was at it.

Our first thing on the agenda for the evening was on the Streets of America to see the Osborne lights! We hadn’t been to see the lights and go at Christmas time since 2002. At that time they still had the lights in the backlot down where all the houses were. Those were the good ol’ days of the backlot…

It’s getting darker!

We had a prime viewing spot

The snow is falling..that means we’re getting closer!

The moment they turned on the lights was probably one of the best parts of the trip. Couldn’t think of a better way to start it. I was seriously just BLOWN away. I’m getting all tingly just thinking about it. There were just lights everywhere and music and being in Disney World…there just isn’t a feeling like it. It was amazing.

I was trying to get a picture of all the hidden mickeys I could find!

Next up was a visit with Santa Goofy!!!!

Line was pretty long so I took some pictures to pass the time!

Oswald loved the lights!

It was finally our turn! This was one of the best character experiences this trip! Goofy took the time to spend with each guest! He even danced with me!!!

Goofy even looooved Oswald! They played a little bit together!

FOUND THE BLACK CAT!

Before leaving the Streets of America and the Osborne Lights we took a few more photopass pictures

Next we walked over by Pixar Place to see how long the wait was for TSMM, but unfortunately it was long all night every time we checked.

Instead we stopped for a photopass pic

Then we went for a journey into the movies!

Oswald was very into the movies…

He had his seat ready to go for his first ride in a park!

After our long but beautiful trip into the movies, it was time for a much needed snack…THE MICKEY PRETZEL!

Next up was a trip off to see Aerosmith!

Oswald was a little shocked!!

We meandered back onto Hollywood Blvd to see that Mulch, Sweat, and Shears were putting on a show!!! They were excited Oswald came to join and said hi and hung out with him a bit!

They put on such a good show!!!!!

I decided to stop and take a few pictures at the beautiful fountain

I decided I wanted to take my tripod out and take a few pictures of the beautiful Neon lights. But first a photoshoot with my favorite, the one and only, Tower of Terror.

After the photoshoot we decided to pack up the tripod and head back to the room since EMH were almost over.

We got back to POFQ around 11 and I took a couple of pictures

French Quarter is just so beautiful!

We hit the sack at around midnight we had the Magic Kingdom waiting for us tomorrow! Oswald was beat! He didn’t know he was all over Instagram!

YAY!!! Another Jess and Diane adventure. Oh and Oswald too!!

Aren't new cameras exciting?! I just love taking night shots with mine. I got some really cool looking ones at Epcot at night back in September. I still need more practice though!!!

And don't knock that guys outfit outside HS!! I was going to wear one just like it in May when I'm there!!

Ohhhhhh, I know why you took so many pics of the Boardwalk!!! But I won't say why! I'm going to keep it a secret!!!

Just think next time we're in Disney, our trips will cross!! And this time we HAVE to go on Tower together!!! <3

I'm having trip flashbacks seeing all of the holiday decor. LOVE IT!!!

Also LOOOOOOVE Oswald! I got my 6 year old the same one for Christmas...or maybe he was for Hanukkah...in any event- he goes everywhere with her now...so it seems totally fitting that your Oswald would go all over WDW on your trip.

Can't wait to read more

So. Many. Lights!! It's horrible but I have yet to see the Osbourn Lights, even when we went in December. We just never got to the Studios at night on that trip.

Very nice nighttime shots BTW. Can't wait to see what you have in store at the MK.

New cameras are awesome!!!!! I love taking night shots with mine as well! Except the tripod did get to be a pain in the butt LOL. And me too definitely!!!! Manual mode is a little tough on the camera so I want to learn more so I can try it out a bit!

I LOOOOVE the holiday decor tooo!!!! It had been so long since I had been at Christmas that I forgot how beautiful it actually was!

Oswald is super cute! I'm glad that she loves him! She should totally take him to Disney World tooo all the cast members will love him! I got asked quite a few times where he came from people also asked me where they could get it in Disney World lol.
